During WWII, all the buildings surrounding the square (behind the Brandenburg gate ) was destroyed. Only thing left standing was the gate. Very historical site .

Hier ist immer was los. Egal ob hier hunderte oder sogar wenige tausend Leute herumlaufen, Artisten etwas aufführen oder einfach nur eine kleine Demonstration ist. Es gibt immer etwas zu sehen.

La Plaza es relativamente amplia y está muy concurrida , cosa normal teniendo en cuenta que es donde está situada la Puerta de Brandeburgo. Tiene dos jardines con fuentes que le dan un toque especial
