Magestic! I stayed here for 2 nights since I was interviewing in the area. Perfect location but even more perfect ambiance. You feel special in a place with so much history and charm.
Oldest hotel in the city celebrating its 98th anniversary this year. 2012 Presidential Ball took place here. Most importantly, very comfortable rooms and everything at your front steps.
Located in the heart of the downtown business district in Pittsburgh, this renowned hotel is a historic landmark . Check out the Retreat to Romance Package.
Great rooms, friendly professional staff , and ideal location. Terrific historic hotel to stay in.
Impressive place; it looks like many Pittsburgh buildings and is combined with an elegant and historical interior. Christmas tree is mighty formidable, too.
Room was large, nicely decorated, and comfortable . Location is great, if not ideal. Staff was friendly and professional. It's a grand old hotel !
Nice older hotel in downtown Pittsburgh but my room was the smallest hotel room I have EVER stayed in ! Literally a bed and desk with no room to walk between the two ! They would not move me - beware
The guest room windows open. So nice to have some fresh air in my room. And sign up for the free loyalty program to get free in-room wifi !
A real, grand hotel . Lovely lobby bar with board games and people watching .
Corey MakRush is the Czar to plan exquisite events at this superb place. In the 30+ years I've known him here, he's never lost his focus on putting guests first. He knows best principles of elegance.
The Seared Diver Scallops at the lobby bar are a must try! I've had them 3 or 4 times. They're excellent!
Love this hotel . Rooms are large, beds are comfy and clean . Hotel staff is very friendly .
Best. Burguer . Ever. Plus confy rooms, excellent service personnel. Great stay.

Very convenient place to stay. Traditional vibe and big rooms .
Best place to stay in the burgh. Right in the middle if everything.
Get a street facing room vs courtyard view - more light
One of the most beautiful hotels in the city--rooms are large and comfortable .
Omni is beautiful...staff friendly , clean (some rooms have a stake cig odor), spacious rooms , book thru Priceline.com. Best deal!!!
Great service. Great location.
Nice large rooms . Outlets are behind the desk close to the floor - should be more accessible.
Ask one of the employees for a tour of the hotel -- Grand Ballroom , Presidential Suite, etc.
Staff is amazing. Service is get and everyone is friendly during the anthrocon block.
Went for high tea . Sweet part was ok, but the bread on the sandwiches felt stale, especially the rye . Overall, not bad, but nit comparable to the proper High Tea in London.
Pleasant experience. Nice beds. Good quality towels! And check out the old mail drop.
I just came here for breakfast . Egg Benedict is great.
Dine in the Terrace Room. Great new French menu, and a excelent and attentive wait staff .
One of the oldest hotels in Pittsburgh, rooms are nice.
For lunch the lamb sliders
The Tap Room is a bit over priced but they might just have the best burger in town !
Nice hotel , but the forget the class they are competing within. Consider the Fairmont.
Charming place and great staff .
No outlets near the bed to charge phone etc. I had to unplug the clock radio and lamp to use the outlets.
Bring a power strip. There are not enough outlets.
Sign up as a Select Guest and have complimentary wifi and breakfast beverages delivered to your guest room.
Nice large rooms , but the entire floor smells like a carcinogen filled ashtray. I did hear they're remodeling which may fix it ...
These beds have the fluffiest pillows and comforters
Get the buffet brunch ! (Pssst...the pineapple banana french toast is also tasty.)
Sample the award-winning cuisine at the restaurant .
I wiped down the bathroom door. Plus the vent in the bathroom ceiling is very dirty .
Showers like a firehose! Luxurious yet affordable .
Dawn at The Speakeasy is simply amazing!
Ballroom on the 17th floor is NOICE
The registration desk has free apples up for grabs, usually red and green. Help yourself!
Customers and #APICS expo attendees should find me to get on the guest list for the Jon Regen concert (in the Lawrence Welk Hall tomorrow night.)
