Magestic! I stayed here for 2 nights since I was interviewing in the area. Perfect location but even more perfect ambiance. You feel special in a place with so much history and charm.

Nice older hotel in downtown Pittsburgh but my room was the smallest hotel room I have EVER stayed in ! Literally a bed and desk with no room to walk between the two ! They would not move me - beware

The guest room windows open. So nice to have some fresh air in my room. And sign up for the free loyalty program to get free in-room wifi !

Corey MakRush is the Czar to plan exquisite events at this superb place. In the 30+ years I've known him here, he's never lost his focus on putting guests first. He knows best principles of elegance.

The Seared Diver Scallops at the lobby bar are a must try! I've had them 3 or 4 times. They're excellent!

Ask one of the employees for a tour of the hotel -- Grand Ballroom , Presidential Suite, etc.

Staff is amazing. Service is get and everyone is friendly during the anthrocon block.

Went for high tea . Sweet part was ok, but the bread on the sandwiches felt stale, especially the rye . Overall, not bad, but nit comparable to the proper High Tea in London.

Pleasant experience. Nice beds. Good quality towels! And check out the old mail drop.

I just came here for breakfast . Egg Benedict is great.

No outlets near the bed to charge phone etc. I had to unplug the clock radio and lamp to use the outlets.

Bring a power strip. There are not enough outlets.

Nice large rooms , but the entire floor smells like a carcinogen filled ashtray. I did hear they're remodeling which may fix it ...
