A great museum . Besides being located in the middle of an awesome urban park it has a very eclectic exhibition schedule. As always check out the NYC panorama made by Columbia University students.

It's a small museum . The best part is definitely the diorama of New York City circa 1992. The Tiffany lamps are stunning, there's a few dozen examples here.

Minhee Cho

The museum was pretty underwhelming. There were only 3-4 random exhibits . We probably finished walking through everything in about 30min. Luckily the admission is suggested + the view outside is????????

The exhibits here are wonderful. The facility is small but packed with something to enjoy. They even have a glass staircase (ala Apple Store).

The Panorama of New York is worth seeing alone. However, the space is light and airy and the exhibits are interesting. Right out the back window is the globe left over from the 1964-65 World’s Fair .

Rebecca Balnis

Little known fact, the museum hosts a record swap ! I snagged a few records after checking out the Ramones exhibit !

The Panorama is a must-see. It’s a 3-D map of all of New York City . Fun fact: Queens Museum’s building was once housed the General Assembly of the United Nations.

Ditto what others say: the Panorama is a must see. I love how artists regularly interact w/ the model of NYC to give it new meanings. And I appreciate QMA's commitment to immigrant, POC, LGBT artists .

Today, I was here to cut the ribbon on the Queens Museum of Art expansion.

I could have stared at the panorama for hours. It should be a NYC rite of passage to come here and try to find your apartment . I also found the Detroit photography exhibit facinating.
