A beautiful and relaxing place to visit. Noguchi's sculptures are both minimalistic and emotive. It's even nice in the winter time even though part of the museum is outdoors.

It’s a much smaller museum than I expected. Admission is free on the first Friday of the month though (and pretty reasonably priced regardless: $10).

Having worked there for over a year, I always told visitors to visit the garden last. Great coffee and food in the cafe , and the big sofa in the cafe will get you the best view of the garden .

A walk-through gives you the sense of floating on your back in a large, boundless ocean. I credit this feeling to either Zen or some kind of piped-in hallucinatory gas. Read more

Dreamy. We were there for about an hour, but could easily spend longer if you’re feeling like your most inquisitive self.

Staggeringly lovely space, peaceful environment , and the work shows the mastery of an artist in love with his materials.

I said it once I'll say it again modern sculpture is not my thing but the garden here is really dope. go!

If you want a little background on the exhibits , you'll want to show up for the guided tour at 2pm (Noguchi liked his pieces displayed unaccompanied by titles or text).

This is my favorite quiet small place in the city . It's tranquil and calming .

Super tranquil. On a sunny day the upper floor and garden are absolutely gorgeous.

During WWII Noguchi voluntarily entered a Japanese internment camp (as a NY resident he was exempt), then applied to leave one month later.

It was set up in an abandoned factory space in Ravenswood, Queens by Japanese sculptor Isamu Noguchi (1904-1988) in 1985. It currently hosts an exhibition on the future of Ravesnwood.

This is a indoor outdoor museum so pick a day with nice weather so you can enjoy the sculptures in the outdoors. There are also performances here so check their calendar.
