Great scene inside with selected music playing from their vinyl library . No English menus. $8 cover charge but at least there are snacks . It's a quiet and camera free zone.
Such a nice whiskey bar . They have cover but it is worth it if you enjoy drinking good whiskey in a nice mellow atmosphere. They also make a great old fashion
Don't take photos. laugh, wear sandals , talk above a whisper, put a bag on a table. Otherwise a barrel of fun.
Jazz music , well-made cocktails (fan of the Manhattan ), calm , warm ambience. Staff can be a bit touchy when the place is crowded .
Great atmosphere and great selection of Japanese Whiskies . Unfortunately got shouted at extremely load near the end because we didn't saw the no photos sticker at the door when we entered.
Handcrafted drinks, vinyl DJ . Super chill vibe -- but be warned, they don't want guests that are even the slightest hint of loud .
one of my favorite bars in the world. no photos. grab a seat at the bar . trust the bartenders , they’re wonderful. menu is all in japanese but most of the staff speaks english and can help.
A good bar if you’re in the mood for some serious quiet time. The drink menu is all in Japanese, so if you can’t read it, come knowing what you want to order or ask the bartender for some help.
Very groovy music from the 4000+ records they have on the walls. The Old Fashion was pretty good too.
Far and away the best sound system I have ever seen inside a bar . McIntosh amplification!!!
Looked great from the door, but no sandals allowed. It's a ridiculous policy, but ladies, cover your feet up if you want in. If you get turned away, head to the sister bar - Bar Track down the road .
Weird way to welcome foreigners. We had to read the "house rules" in order to get a seat and then the service was super cold. I only had good experiences in Japan expect here.
This place gets really packed on Fridays. Even past midnight
Great audiophile bar with over 3 pages of Japanese whiskey selection .
Just everything. Go immediately!
Awesome place for a decent drink with friends!
Best audio quality and drinks.
Vinyl lovers dream bar . There is a small cover.
It is a shop that has a nice atmosphere and delicious drink. We must not talk too loud .
Don't come in a large group. 2 max
The owner of this place is the rudest ASSHOLE I have ever met. So unfortunate as it is a nice bar . My friend and I left because he verbally attacked us...TWICE.
Interesting atmosphere and the staff have an incredible knowledge of their incredibly diverse music collection. Ultimately this place is too stodgy; drink in silence and don't talk to others!
Tourists not welcome!
For the Vinyl Aficionado
I must second on the special ginger drink.
Horribly rude staff , overpriced food. The atmosphere was great but they just ruined it.
Great atmosphere and awesome music . They don't allow photos, but do it anyway. What are rules?
Read the caution note at the entrance. Try not to stretch.
We have had ribs all over the US. It's one of my husband's favorite foods. We gave up rib-hope until we tried Hato's. These are authentic Southern US ribs. Great staff too. - Mireya Benedetti
Neighbourhood bar. Renovated a traditional Japanese building so the floors are creaky and the exterior shabby in a good way. Local and quiet crowd. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area - Yurika Starr
Chill NYC like bar with some very attentive staff and great cocktails. Get the mezcal or whiskey ones and sit at the bar. - Ronak Daya
Open kitchen really fun to watch and SUPER delicious spicy ramen. Get the side of pork too. Prepare to wait in line. - Russell Hirschorn
Classic Tokyo izakaya culture jam-packed into tiny alleyways stuffed with izakayas for every taste (seafood, meat, even vegetarian!). The best place to bar-hop and to try new nibbles. - Emily K.
