Very accessible to the 7 train - don't be intimidated by the trip to Corona to visit this incredible landmark . Now I feel like Satchmo is Uncle Satchmo to me after hearing these great stories.

This place is fantastic. I had a great time. The tour guide is really knowledgeable . Well worth the entrance fee.

Still furnished as it was when Louis and his wife Lucille lived there. During the holidays the house is decked out for a special Christmas-themed tour along with rare Satchmo Christmas recordings.

History, jazz , culture, context, and a knowledgeable guide, all for $10. Recommended for any fan of jazz or music history.
