The truffle spaghetti with meatballs is good but has fallen off lately. My new fav is the fusilli mushroom and pancetta pasta . Brussel sprout sides is a must!
I saw the last tip about the carpaccio...are you kidding me? I've had beef carpaccio everywhere from Japan to Italy. Hands down this carpaccio , with polenta & asiago, was the best I've ever had.
The meatballs are to die for and go for some Burrata cheese and the roast chicken . Weekend brunch must include the fried eggs over polenta .
Get the mozzarella tasting to start, then the beef carpaccio , round that off with the prosciutto di Parma pizza , and if you still hungry, enjoy the penne Arrabbiata. This is good to share for two.
The Antipasti and Entrees, Desserts , Drinks are awesome! Friendly staff and adult ambiance.
Tuesday is definitely the day to try some of the best pasta in Vancouver.
The "Pasta Facts" printed on the place mat is full of information of various types of pasta from different parts of Italy. Very interesting read!
Their truffled meatball pasta is so good. Very filling and worth your money, especially on Tuesdays.
Mission Hill Pinot Noir with the Spagehetti Carbonera. You will fall over in your chair as it's so good. Finish your meal with the warm apple streudel and ice cream .
This place is loud , but if discourse is less important to you than satisfying your taste buds, try the pizza . The pepperoni is big, thin and spicy . The crust is thicker for a thin crust pizza .
The beef carpaccio was pretty good! The linguine carbonara was too creamy.
The Brussel sprouts are fantastic. Normally I don't eat them and here they are sooo delicious !!
Great place for lunch or dinner . Great food and great service
Personal favorite starter? The bruschetta sampler! You get to try three kinds of bruschetta in one appetizer . I love the chickpea best, but a mix is great to share.
Try the gluten free desert ! Also pasta Tuesdays have gluten free options as well !!!!!
great service, nice room and everything was good except for the beef carpaccio ! Warm polenta on the bottom cooked the beef a little yuck!
on my last visit to Trattoria me and my friends were dissaponted when we ordered a round of Yager shots and it was watered down.
Really good service and decent food. Carbonara was very good, pizza was average.
Can't go wrong with spaghetti and Kobe meatballs ... It tastes just as good leftover too!
Pasta Tuesday is now $11 but still a great deal (dine in only)!
Pasta sharing platter will leave you plenty full.
Trattoria is part of a group of restaurants that puts on an annual holiday feast for Downtown Eastside residents. Read more at the link. Read more
The antipasti platter is fantastic.
Unfortunately they don't take reso's and your entire party has to be present in order to be seated...just a little bit irritating. Staff is still nice though
All of their gourmet pastas are only $10 on Tuesdays!
The lemon & caper Brussel sprouts are amazing. A must-try as a side dish to any of their great dishes here.
Uplifting energy every time. This room is a home away from home, with a dinner party going on.
All pasta is al dente . Surprised at the number of families with kids that were here on a Monday.
Good on $12 Tuesday, a little overpriced otherwise
The pepperoni pizza is actually Canadian bacon - so delish!!
Nice restaurant . Sub par food. The other restaurants in the global chain are better.
Linguine Vongole ...and dessert , save room for dessert . Read more
Great food, nice people and fantastic service. Try the burrata !!!!
Try the Linguine Vongole ! You won't be sorry if you like clams . :)
Cheap , gaudy design. Service is somewhere between awkward and bad. Pasta is simply inferior. One of the worst Italian restaurants in town .
No doubt, the penne arabiatta and the chianti will knock you on your ass
They serve gluten free pasta here!
Great place to eat
Half off wine on Wednesdays and amazing appies.
I was expecting a lot more from this place. Food was okay....place looks worn out now. I suggest going after dark...
seen the chefs cut numerous items with out cleaning their knives if you go be sure not allergic to anything, very unsanitary
Whatever was just in my mouth was amazing! Chickpea bruschetta ....... Order it!!!!!
Sorbet is heavenly.... Look for Whitney, she'll give you the winky face.... But only if you are the one making the pizza .
Tends to be quite loud . Not good for a date or conversation. The food is good, though!
As regulars @ Glowbal we waited over 45 min for our food & was advised by manager that this is common on Saturday nights(lame excuse)". No free appetizer , dessert/discount was offered. NOT GOING BACK!
Yummy zeppole!
Love the meatballs here!
$10 pasta tuesdays !
Order the punto final malbec and sit next to a girl named Shawna for a great night.
Hooked us up with a giant piece of Tirimisu for a birthday.
Definitely the Beef Carpacchio is the BEST I have ever had! Veal Milanese also to die for - Patricia Milino
Loved the ricotta stuffed eggplant for brunch. Bonus points for free banana bread before 10 am. - Marion Young
Try Crostini with Walnut Pesto, Gorgonzola and Pear, outstanding flavor! - Bing Zhang
Best cinema in Vancouver. Popcorn is delicious. They better never change what they do cos they're doing it well. - Craig Carey
Nice beach with washrooms, shower, cafe , outdoor pool in the summer , tennis courts , grass area, excellent playground for kids. - Vivian Lee
