Breitscheidplatz 10789 Berlin Germany
The whole story about this church is very sad. The art is gorgeous and you must visit this church . Not only that, but the neighborhood is amazing.
Begun in 1891, all that remains of the original church after it was bombed in 1943 is the old tower , the “Hollow Tooth.” The new church comprises four buildings in addition to the tower.
This is my favourite church in Berlin because Berliner know best how to keep their scars and learn from it. Not many know how to.The new contemporary chruch is delightful & rich in character as well .
Quite a sight to see this monument - read the history of the bombed out church on the ground floor. The blue tinted stained glass box opposite looks impressive inside - worth popping in
Can’t wait for the restauration of the blue church to be done! Still gorgeous to see the remnants of the war-bombed ‘lipstick’ next to the new, blue-windowed ‘powder box’ - make sure you enter!
Impressive to see how history is integrated into the modern city centre. And right across the street you find the best Currywurst in town at Curry Wolf! If you come here, make sure to try them out! ????
Old church structure is very interesting and new modern church is strikingly peaceful and beautiful with its deep ocean blue windows -- don't skip the modern building
The church is quite interesting to see. Make sure you come early to see the new one, some afternoons they have concerts . Lovely neighborhood !
As a memorial, it's a very important historic site . We had the luck the organ was being played. With kids: in a short time you've seen it all;)
Go inside the new hexagram church on a sunny day - the light shines though blue glass windows . Very beautiful.
This protestant church is a great piece of history where you'll see reminders of the war. Do not miss the Memorial Hall at the church 's west tower to see some exhibits about the church 's history.
Had the chance to watch a presentation of Mozart's Requiem just across the church . Absolutely exquisite.
Beautiful church . Sad to learn its history but at least part of it still stands for it to be restored despite the bombing.
The Berliners call it "Der hohle Zahn". One of the various landmarks in the City West.
The clock lights up as part of the Festival of Lights. It gives a fun twist to one of the preserved monuments of West Berlin.
Magnificent. Not to be missed
Beautiful organ music around 16:30. Nice for relaxing after an intense day of exploring!
Most influential church in Berlin . A must visit.
Very important historic site with very sad story. Also do not miss modern church building nearby.
Impressive new church with blue windows and the form from the church . So minimalistic
Such a visceral reminder of the Berlin bombings.
Orgelmusik - Saturdays at 6pm. Free entrance.
Impressive one at the middle of the place
Unique story and architecture !
Really cool from the outside
The new tower looks boring at daytime but lights up at nighttime. (The old tower is being restored right now - but when it's visible they are an odd couple!)
One of the most remarkably beautiful church bells I've ever heard
A must See in Berlin...
This bombed out look suits Berlin excellently.
The church is being restored at the moment, so the monument is encapsulated, not that interesting, though the blues glasses church is nice
Definitely worth the trip to this part of Berlin
Great place to see and perfect location
Unbelievable, it is from a movie .
Extrem unfreundliches Personal. Schade!
Old and new church beside each other makes a magic contrat.
Beautiful place
Beautiful church
You must see it inside!
The old tower is currently scaffolded an under renovations. A big let down!
Be quiet , it's a church .
A good Place for sightseeing ????

Die #Kaiser #Wilhelm #Gedächtnis #Kirche . Auch wenn das ursprüngliche #Gebäude nicht mehr so recht steht nach #Zerstörung 1943 ist die #Gedenkhalle sehr beeindruckend!
3€ entrance fee. The view from the climb to the top is worth the climb. Go near evening for a beautiful view of Berlin. - Jonathan C
Worth visiting this on a walking tour to learn about the History. You can book a walking tour for under €15 through Berlin walking tours. - Sammy Cantwell
A little outside if the city center but worth of visiting for 100%! Gallery Wall on the Wall great idea, interesting pics. - Anna Kopaniarz
You can find anything you want here. Huge and luxurious - elenitsa
As a child it looked so huge and the ceiling was so high! Now it is a rather small shopping center, some shops in it but the water clock is still a catch :) - Meltem K
