Egyptian obelisk from the Temple of Luxor, given by Egypt to Napoleon .

Una obra maestra proveniente del templo de Luxor, en Egipto , que es, sin duda alguna, digna de admirar con detenimiento. Está situado en plena Plaza de la Concordia . Muy recomendable.

L ’obélisque de la Concorde est, de très loin, le plus vieux monument de Paris. Il date du XIIIème siècle avant JC. ????

C'est le plus vieux monument de Paris avant les arènes de Lutèce, il fut transféré d'Egypte à Paris en 1830.

La escultura más antigua de Francia 3200 años tiene aprox.

Vieux de 3300 ans, il fût offert par l'Égypte à la France en 1836. Les hiéroglyphes célèbrent la gloire du pharaon Ramsès II. Le piédestal montre le transport et l'érection de l'obélisque .
