Lobster roll easily has an ENTIRE lobsters worth of meat. Split the large with a friend & a 1/2 dozen oysters . Wash it down with a beer and you just had a Cape Cod experience.
I'm from New England and this is one of the best lobster rolls I've had.
Cioppino is an Italian fish stew created by fisherman who resided in North Beach . There are several excellent places to score cioppino in the city , but Woodhouse is a little off the beaten path. Read more
Great tasting N. England style lobster & crab ???? sandwiches ; the butter-garlic toasted bread is simply perfect. Their french fries are the best in the city . Good service , place is usually very crowded
Crispy calamari . Oysters . Dungeness ???? sea urchin linguine . Enjoy the bar if as a couple !
Crab linguini was great, lots of meat. The whole crab was even better. Good French fries ! Make-your-own summer shandy was tasty too
Lobster roll is delish but small portion for the price. Also, their fish tacos were great too. Crispy and flavorful. Good for casual dining .
Go for the lobster roll and oysters . The lemonade is DIY so you can put exactly as much syrup as you like and no have it overly sweet. Friendly service .
Soft Shell Crab Sandwich when available is great. Solid Clam Chowder , Good Ipswich Sandwich , Fancy Lemonade .
Wonderful choice of seafood in menu! Clam chowder , oysters , sour dough bread pudding all tasted wonderful! Great portion size!
Delicious oysters and although I haven't had it myself, I hear the lobster roll is just amazing.
The toasted buttered Dungeness roll is awesome! As is the claim chowder . Most of the specials are also very good.
Mehhhh. Completely vibeless restaurant serving absolutely fine seafood staples in an uninspired location with dead-eyed wait staff . Feels like a simulacrum. You have entered the matrix.
I've just declared the grilled artichoke stuffed with dungeness crab & shrimp my favorite lunch in the city (which is saying a lot!) Amazing!!
Food is good, takes a while. I got the larger lobster roll $26 which had 6 oz, but small would definitely have been enough. If you live nearby call in to put your names down first
Never thought I would enjoy a grilled artichoke stuffed with dungeness crab & shrimp , as much as the one here. Even the tossed greens it sat on were expertly dressed .
GREAT LOBSTER ROLL . GREAT BBQ OYSTERS. but pricey for the small amount of food you get.
Everything is amazing, but my faves are the Softshell Crab BLT, Dungeness Crab Sandwich , Dungeness Crab , Cioppino , and $1 oyster night on Tuesdays.
This place is incredible! Amazingly fresh seafood . The owner is so nice and hospitable . Such a neighborhood gem ! Get here!!!
Side substitutions are allowed. Seating is a bit tight so be wary if it's crowded . The fries are super flavorful though, as well as the crab melt .
Every dish, from grilled to fried, from starters to entrees and salads , WFC never disappoints.
An amazing lobster roll ! I loved the DIY Arnold Palmer , too!
Lobster roll and crab roll , both pricey , but delicious
Perfect brunch place . Nice tomato chowder . DIY lemonade is fun/
I can't believe more tips don't mention the Cioppino . I've tried a ton of rolls and other dishes but the Cioppino remains at the top of the list.
Tuesday $1 oysters . Had the mussels & claims w Frits as well . Always high quality and freshness.
Shucked Raw Oysters , BBQ Oysters , Clam Chowder , Lobster Rolls . Read more
The bread pudding here is made with sourdough bread . This unique twist that offers a tinge of tartness , which is countered by the rest of the sweet ingredients. Read more
Cioppino is an amazing bowl of seafood , but the salt will stay on your tongue for days after.
Grilled Stuffed Artichoke with shrimp and Dungeness crab . Yummmm ...mmm mmm mm
The artichoke with the shrimps and crab are amazing.????
Absolutely delish! Cute decor, amazing food. The clam chowder was amazing, as was the lobster roll .
Another great meal here! Everything is cooked perfectly... fish and vegetables .
Lobster rolls , mussels (don't miss the garlic bread ), Baja style fish tacos . Get it all.
No flavor and no taste. Cute place with great service in a fun neighborhood , but the food is bland. Had the lobster roll and the stuffed artichoke .
Go big or go home! Get the large 6oz lobster roll for the win.
Lobster roll , fries , slaw , and Drakes wheat beer ! Best combo out there!
A cup of creamy clam chowder to start was great. Get the crab roll instead of the crab melt . Both were good, but the roll was great.
Quite tasty. And the sides are good too!
The best butter toasted Dungeness crab roll I ever tasted ...I prefer the large!
Be at the bar . No need to book .
We stayed in Pacific Heights five nights and this is the only place where we ate twice!
Try the Cornmeal Crusted Whole Roasted Fish - Sorry, I couldn't wait, but believe me, you'll love it
Clam chowder and the lobster roll are amazing! Bit pricey though.
Try the Drake’s Hefeweizen - Great beer ! #drakes Great food! Great place!
Best lobster sandwich ????
Warm crab roll > cold crab roll . Awesome place for a weekend lunch .
