Worked here 1996-2000. <3 Register early for the July and August Sea Turtle hatchling release and experience50+ baby turtles crawling into the sea. Enjoy the touch tank in the exhibit hall when open.

Love this park . Subtle beauty. Enjoyable boardwalks in the mangroves out to the lake . Check out the salt water tanks in the exhibit hall . Climb the tower for a breath taking vista of the ocean.

Impressive how the center is educating the public. Loved the place. Heard part of lecture about rehabilitated wildlife and setting them free.

Walk the trails then pay the $2 fee for the exhibit hall . Interesting exhibits , a small aquarium and an educational movie . It's a great way to cool down.

Named for award-winning journalist and first woman to serve on county commission. Offers sea turtle program in July and Aug but book in May because it always sells out quickly. Great mangroves trails .

Kayak through miles of mangroves or take the environmental boat tour to learn more about preserving South Florida’s wetlands.

Visit the gift shop and pay $2 for the exhibit even if u don't go in. It still helps support this great park .

A dollar gets you a long way in the Exhibit Hall with all access to simulated mangroves , a 3,500-gallon aquarium , and a hands-on EcoRoom.

Nice park , not good for trail running but would be nice for a walk.

Saturday and Sunday at 2 ... They fe ed the fish ... Kids love it

Rough stone roads/trails. Not too bad for running.

Be careful,to many moskitos
