Some people get it mixed up with the Arc de Triomphe de l’Etoile (which is on the other side of the Champs Elysées and much bigger)

Modelled after the original Arch du Triumph, view the Lourve pyramid between the columns for a better appreciation.

Nice spot but be careful! Lots of tourists stop in the middle of the road to take that 'perfect picture'

Es realmente imponente. Lo mejor es llegar a pie atravesando toda la Avenue de Champs-Elysees (desde el Hotel des Invalides); el Arco del Triunfo se va divisando de a poco hasta descubrir su magnitud.

Puede que no sea tan imponente como el Arco del Triunfo , pero la verdad es que este también es asombroso. Está situado a escasos metros del Museo del Louvre y se puede admirar con detalle sin agobios.

Édifié en 1809, il rend hommage à la Grande Armée de Napoléon Bonaparte, lors de la victoire à Austerlitz. Ce monument est dans l'Axe Historique comme son petit frère de l'Étoile .

Regardez vers l'Ouest et vous verrez les monuments de l'Axe Historique : l'Obélisque de la Concorde, l'Arc de Triomphe et la Grande Arche de la Défense.
