Pre-book tickets online and skip to priority queue entrance at the main pyramid entrance. Else, u need to queue to pass thru security scanning just like at the airport b4 u get to the ticket counter.

If you go during the busiest time then I recommend buying tickets online beforehand. Shorter queue for those with tickets.
