An amazing collection of art : Picasso, Cezanne , Rodin, Matisse , Degas. And two rooms with Monet's giant water lily canvasses. Pound for pound (frame for frame?), perhaps the best museum in the world.

Don't sleep on this museum because it's not the Orsay or Louvre. Two huge rooms on the top floor devoted to mural-sized works by Monet of his water lilies. Very serene place to appreciate his work.

It's my favourite museum in Paris. Small, intimate , and you are surrounded by Monet's fabulous water lily murals . Downstairs is a great, small collection of other famous artists .

The Water Lilies “Grandes Décorations” are the culmination of Monet’s lifetime work, painted 1914-1926. The two full oval rooms are both stunning and a relaxing feeling of “water without horizon”.

An intimate and beautiful museum that is small yet essential in Paris. Go on a day with bright sunlight because light plays a huge role for monet's pieces. If you go late, ticket prices may be cheaper

Must see! After a long day at the louvre, sneaking in before closing gave us enough time to see the small but magnificent collection. Waterlilies in person... sigh...❤️❤️❤️

Even if Monet isn't your cup of tea , it worth the visit to see many beautiful impressionist paintings . Go early in the morning and buy tickets to here and the D'Orsay, saving a precious time on lines .

The Monet collection is truly amazing, but the underground floor has one of the most spectacular collection of contemporary artists too! Definitely worth visiting at least once.

For me this is a great place. But it has only a few small exhibitions which are fantastic if you like impressionists. Moreover, the audioguide had a very interesting materials.

Easily one of the best museum in Paris. A hidden gem where you are inches away from the works of Picasso and Renoir.

Great curation of pieces by Renoir, Matisse , Monet, Picasso, and more! Smaller, less crowded , and easier to conquer than d'orsay. Get the audio guide!

Went for the Matisse exhibition , which was great. Saw many other impressionist and post-impressionist works that were wonderful. Very impressive collection.

Such an impressive museum , but it seems it's easier to gather so many works of Picasso, Monet, Matisse & Renoir, than to teach some English to the employees. Still it totally worths your time.

An often missed museum , but so worth it especially if you are a Monet fan. Great alternative for those not wanting to get lost in the Louvre.

Come on sunny days, due to museum using natural light you will have a better look at Monet's water lilies! Impressive Renoir collection in basement also.

Is very nice, a tiny museum . Now is under works so you can see the half of the museum , but still worth the visit. Buy the jumelée ticket + Musee d'Orsay, you will save 4€!

Beautiful Monet! The rooms containing them have seats and you can really sit there and admire them in all it's glory.

Very nice museum worth visiting on a sunday morning and try to rent one of the audioguides it really helps

My must see every time in Paris: the water lilies.... book tickets online in advance to enter via separate qeue. Std qeue waiting time is loooooong

Beautiful museum located not far from the Louvre! Their collection is almost exclusively made of Monet’s paintings , including the water lilies!

Monet's Waterlillies are the prized gem in this museum . Prints in the gift shop are fairly inexpensive and make up for no cameras being allowed in the actual exhibit .

If you are an admirer of Monet’s work, you will simply fall in love with this place. The famous painter’s Nymphéas (water lilies) are exhibited in two plain oval rooms. Read more

Enjoyed this, but watch out for the bonkers bag check-in. They want your bag, but then expect you to keep and carry all your valuables round without your bag, if it's bigger than a small handbag !

A small but absolutely stunning place. See Monet's water lillies (Les Nympheas) in the oval rooms.

There isway too much staff in this place but they are friendly and the paintings are beautiful

Very impressive to see Monet's nymphéas in their full length. Sit down and take your time looking at them. This museum is a highlight!
