Skinny's Cantina

This Mexican restaurant is a big spot for locals. Good crowd, The food is good full of Mexican delights. They have a happy hour for food. staff is friendly and skinny is always around, ask for Nicole!

The Tenant King team started to hang out on the streets of LIC to get to know the users better. We usually end our days here. We recommend the amazing guac , the mexican burger and Skinny's Margarita !

The steak quesadillas are so good! The meat was so tender and yummy. Tacos and other entrees are just okay. Generally a bit over-priced for what it is and how much they give you, but cute atmosphere.

I order from here because they deliver really quickly. They have an awesome Roasted Corn Salad with Chicken . The Jalapeno Vinaigrette is so tasty with the right amount of spicy kick .

An upside down mini bottle of Corona in a frozen margarita ? Yes! The Coronita is a legit good beer cocktail , aka a Mexican Bulldog.

Get the elote or guac with either fish tacos (broiled), steak , or beef barbacoa . Skip the dry burrito .

Food and service is great. really fun place. The menu keeps growing. And the margs are killer. No mix. Love it! We need more places like this in LIC

Try the Chicharones ! The pork is tender and juicy. The grilled Calamari App is cooked to perfection, their Guac is addictive and their refried red beans are Heaven. They had me at "Cantina"

The food is delicious. I definitely recommend the shrimp fajitas . Also, make sure to try the guacamole .

Nice outdoor seating near the waterfront , the waiter even brings out a small takeout container filled with water for your dog on hot days

They have a takeout window & the outdoor seating is ???? friendly when the weather is nice.

Great service great beer and good appetizers however some good portions were really small and the tacos are soft so fall apart really easily just a heads up.

I've been here more times than I can count. Skinny is the coolest owner and the vibe is always great.

Pork belly al pastor tacos are really good. The skinny margarita is really strong. Skip the fundido (it's okay) and save room for the tres leches .

Fish tacos and shrimp a la mexicana are fantastic. Awesome guacamole as well .

Good eggs , bad potatoes , charge money for chips . The kind of place that has multiple tables for 10 people at lunch

Calamari and queso fundido are great appetizers to share.

Tres leches (pic) is beautiful but really bland and soggy. The Mexican Burger is ok. After several meals here, everything is just ok. Service is friendly though.

2nd review, new cook? Better food, however 12 for 3 tacos ? Not bad but to be server in a plastic basket? With 13 drinks? Miss Match! Don't go to an Asian for Mexican! And vice versa! Go to Shi!!
