It's a mid-century, renovated motor-inn-turned-boutique-hotel in the heart of Portland, minutes away from Downtown Portland, the Oregon Convention Center , the Pearl District and the Rose Garden Arena.
The walls are thinner than paper here, so stay somewhere else if you're not into late night hipsters . Although, if you're not into that then why are you in Portland?
107ist’s can use the following link to get a special discount at the Jupiter Hotel. Rates for 107ist’s starting at $89 for LoBu’s, $99 for Metro’s, and $109 for Deuces on the patio side.
Hang out at the super cool Doug Fir Lounge , where you can groove on the retro 70′s decor and the inevitably hot local band playing the stage. Read more
This place compliments real time conference really well . They have chalks in the room and you can graffiti on their doors!
If Design Within Reach is your dream shop, and the Museum of Modern Art is your favorite place, the Jupiter is made for you. Read more
You can get a half-day for $80 if you really need to sleep in on your check-out date. Also, the rooms are supplied with free condoms , ear plugs, and breathe-right strips.
Favorite Hotel Period. Amazing Northwestern artists are repped from the walls to shower curtains to discounts they give. and the Doug Fir lounge is phenom. though you might wana bring your flask. $$;)
Everyone who works here seemed to bend over backward to make sure that everything is running smoothly. They are the nicest hotel staff I've ever met who think creatively to solve problems. #PDXCW
loudest fucking hotel i've ever stayed at. booming bass from the attached club until 1am.
This roadside motel couldn't be more hip and has really comfy beds with a lighthearted design.
Cute rooms, cool people, great bar at the Doug Fir! Definitely one of the hippest hotels in Portland.
The restaurant Hey Love is super good! Rooms are great too, affordable and cozy .
Wondering how to renovate an old motel ..... Check in @ Jupiter! Great location. Rental bikes ;-) Different room types to suit your needs.
Everything about this place is great except it's hard to sleep when the doug fir has a bunch of people talking right outside your room on their patio and people are loud .
Great place to stay if you like music...NOT a good place to stay if you want to sleep.
The rooms are rad. Just bring earplugs if you're near the Doug Fir and you need to sleep.
Enjoy the free condoms !
Went there in October. I heard it used to be a motel but what I like about this hotel is that it's one of those budget boutique lodges to stay in.
You can draw on the doors!
Don't park in their lot on Ankeny. We parked there and our car window got smashed. The hotel didn't take any responsibility for the theft or damage.
The Jupiter is a great place to stay very retro but a bit pricey for what you get.
Quirky guestrooms include photo murals and chalkboard doors. Keep it clean — and witty.
After you crash at the Jupiter, check out www.travelretro.com for more great retro locations!!!
Great desk clerks & awesome peaceful feeling rooms
Try the Fur Burger...foodgasm galore!!!
You'll absolutely love this place... If you have terrible taste.
Use the chalk on your door to prevent rapture.
Great place to stay if in town for a show at Doug Fir
I had an absolutely great first night here. Start at the Doug Fir.
Don't be scared to crack open the merlot (The Velvet Devil). Scrumtrulescent!
Take a picture with Lily in the lobby and then post it on her Facebook wall (facebook.com/jupiterhotel) for a special surprise. She is the mannequin mascot of the hotel .
Motel 6 + Ikea furniture
If u rent the dream room here for an event , ask them to test the projector the night before :(
Avoid. Poor service, sketchy area of Portland. The room has no amenities and zero privacy. Rent on airbnb instead in a cooler area.
It's not obnoxiously loud like people say, and they provide earplugs for sleeping just in case. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Pdx.
On the road and need clean clothes ? There is a washer/dryer near the back of the hotel .
Overpriced for a refurbed motel . Quiet rooms aren't that quiet on a Saturday night.
NO! *very noisy(can hear the footsteps of upper floors)*small-dark room*lack of fresh air , no chance to open a window*sooo laud AC *
Loud and quite small rooms:(
Small rooms, loud at night. Not recommended.
Use the chalk to write something funny on your door.
Poor Saturn is jealous they don't have a hotel of their own...
Summer noods = one of my most favorite dishes in PDX. Cocktails are on point. Boozy slushee on the patio is a vibe. Great for brunch, too. My only complaint is sometimes it’s too busy (good problem). - Virginia
Hotel rooms are spendy, but a neat experience - sleeping in school! I loved the big windows and the chalkboards were fun. - Erin
Definitely stop at the breakfast downstairs in the restaurant over the room service. Very well priced, food was excellent, and very good portions! - Cory K.
Nice without a lot of amenities. Plain rooms. Excellent staff, awesome toiletries. Stump town and a great restaurant in the lobby are a plus. Location extremely convenient. - Erin Mosow
They make some of their syrups in house, try one of them in something delicious. - Mike Waleke
New York style Pizza done right! Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available, as well as lots of goodness for the meat lovers. - Frances Bean
The outside seating area is an oasis! The cocktails are really great - try the brujo! - Owen
