Hotel Fort Canning

Built in 2010 at a historic site . Nice combination of old architecture and modern hotel features. Being able to walk in the park early morning is priceless. Good and attentive service .

Conservation building was styled by award-winning DP Architects. URA (Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore) gave it the Architectural Heritage Award in 2011. Source: Website

Would love it if they had better directional signages. It'd help tremendously as well if they got NParks to update their maps to include the hotel building on their park maps of Fort Canning!!

Great space for company bonding games! Centrally located hotel , easy to dismiss from events to go to Orchard Road

Once the British military headquarters in Singapore. Then occupied by the Japanese in the war. Eventually the Singapore military headquarters until it was vacant for 20 years. Hotel opened in 2010.

A history fan’s treasure find. The spots of interest are properly documented. Even the buildings nearby are of historical interest.

The hotel occupies the restoration of what was once the British Far East Command HQ

For those coming for meetings, the Jasmine room at level 3 is between a tree and swimming pool view : great decor!

Beautiful hotel & gorgeous with divine sheets. The breakfast is not too extravagant but lovely outlook.

There are free drinks and canapés in the lobby between 6-7pm each day.

We were early for a company event & waited at the hotel lobby but was asked to leave (politely) because the area is only for Hotel Guests.

Gorgeous hotel ; balanced mix of old and new.

Nice room and hotel facilities. Like the entire feel. But, staffs are not very responsive and difficult to control room aircon. Noisy in the morning when staffs talk loudly while vacuuming.
