Awesome hotel . Buying gold Ambassador status is a no brainer. Historic tower has better rooms and the staff are great. Parking is pricy though so go down the block to save $20+ per night.
This amazing hotel offers a free audio walking tour . Stop at the concierge desk and leave an ID and credit card to take the tour . Absolutely beautiful!
When in Chicago, I would never stay anywhere else. Wifi is expensive , but free at Starbucks and MJ's steakhouse . The pool is amazing. Even if you don't swim , go check it out. Excellent location!
This hotel has a beautiful lobby and fancy , charming rooms, such as King Arthur's Court and Camelot.
Great pool, friendly staff , great location! Our first night the concierge said to look around for a spot to eat our take-out pizza and we found a great spot just passed Michael Jordan 's.
Beautiful hotel that isn't quite as expensive as you'd imagine a hotel in the middle of the Magnificent Mile to be.
Fantastic location in the center of Chicago. Very beautiful building (especially inside), Starbucks inside
Great location on the mile in the midddle of everything - rooms appear to have been recently updated based on previous stays at this property
It is a fabulous location in the heart of the City . Near many historic sites , shopping, and easy walking.
Beautiful architecture and great location at an affordable rate. The Michael Jordan restaurant within premises and ENO next door are a must.
Landed in a blizzard, spent 2 hrs on runway at O'hare. 10 min after stepping off plane was traveling to hotel with professional driver from Echo Limousine, $60 for 3 people seems very reasonable!
Make sure to view the swimming pool , even if just to have a look. 1930's era glamor and beauty.
It's a gorgeous classy hotel except. Conveniently located in downtown Chicago next to plenty of eating and shipping options. Michael Jordan steakhouse is in the lobby
Very lovely hotel . Make sure you make reservations in advance for the restaurant inside!
The pool is not the same as the "famous pool from that one old movie !" I was admiring and asked the hotel manager who let me down nicely: "Yeah, everyone thinks that, but this pool wasn't in it."
A wonderful place for a weekend away from home. The pool is famous and the food from room service is superior.
This is an amazing old hotel . Great service. Manager was outstanding
Within walking distance of Giordano's and Gino's East for pizza . Plus check out The Billy Goat Tavern for a Cheezeborger Cheezeborger!
In the pool, paddle your feet like crazy, but try to stay still and calm . Then say "I'm like a duck calm on top but my legs are going crazy! !"
Try ENO next door for Vino paired with great cheeses and chocolates . We make it a point to go every time we're in town
One of the best locations in the city , but disheartened by the very small rooms for such a high-end brand
Very nice hotel but it would have been nice if they had told us the pool was closed! Said the city won't let them put that on their website but I came here FOR the pool! Very unhappy!!!
Pool is beautiful. We stayed in the main building. At the time the room was in need of minor maintenance-peeling wallpaper, peeling and molding caulking in the bathroom . Glad we used points...
I enjoyed my stay here. Convenient location and good staff :)
Take the self guided tour and get a free water bottle
Great location and friendly staff .
When walking by beware: live feed to lobby screen behind front desk.
If you're planning on swimming , call ahead to make sure the pool is open. Otherwise you have to haul the family across the street to swim .
Can't believe that wifi isn't included for the price we pay to stay here! No worries though, I can go downstairs and get WiFi at Starbucks for free....
The pool is incredible...original from the 1920's
Very cool place! We are having a week long event in late June and look forward to it. Maybe we will have Chicago deep dish pizza !
Great location. Stayed in the historic tower - king bed room is pretty big for a downtown hotel . Didn't care that the pool was closed.
Well used t o having internet that I don't have to pay for. They are trying to charge me for an extra night I did not book . Rooms are average. Smallest TV I have seen in years. Rate them one star.
The staff is always so helpful and friendly .
Solid hotel for a bachelor party!
There are lots of urban legends about what's inside the building's gold dome. The sad truth is that it's empty and just for decoration. Read more
pool is pretty amazing and spooky at the same time. original pool from the late 20's, love the original pool tiling.
On very rare occasions, small groups of people are allowed onto this building's now closed outside observation deck just below the gold onion dome. Read more

They sure do treat you like royalty here!!! Upgraded to a suite AND sent up a special gift for my daughter for her bday. What a treat!
The pool is 25 meters long. Perfect for lap swimming . Upgrade to the Historic tower we worth it
Really nice rooms and staff , but charging for wifi is obscene!
Very cozy and close to any place you wanna visit
overall good hotel but in middle of inter there was a wind coming throught the window in the main bedroom... they kept sending a guy to fix it ... did this three times in a night but never offered to
Welcome OPEN Top Client Group! Landmark hotel . #changexdesign #Summit2014
Durring an event you have to sneak into a bathroom or youll be told you cant use it. Douchy, beautiful hotel though
Great pool and health club . Staff are friendly and a great atmosphere.
Get the room with a view
For what I heard was a fancy hotel Has been a complete let down. Rooms small. Wallpaper is falling off. The carpets been patched together. Bathroom is like a public stall. I'm not coming back.

In the Lobby bar they have their own brews. They had a Honey Wheat beer that was pretty good for only $5.75 (cheap for Chi standards). Being a fan of honey brown and honeyweiss, this was excellent. - Lee Forkenbrock
