Ordered chicken gumbo was delicious as was the veal poboy & the smoothered cabbage ! Would come again- travelwithbender.com oh and the banana foster wow
Shaye was a great server! The gumbo , red beans and rice and boudin balls were great. Lots of the tips were negative but we really enjoyed this meal!
Abita Gator is on the menu as Andy Gator , same yum! Great place, atmosphere, a little $$ but worth it for a decent meal in a comfy touristy restaurant on the quarter.
Excellent! Food, staff , service all superior. Best Andouille sausage I've ever had, and crawfish etouffe was great too.
Had A Taste of New Orleans dish all of it was really good. The tea is sweet and definitely on point.
Shrimp jambalaya , Cajun rice ... and I forgot the rest. They were all yummy but be aware they come in big portions !
Other reviews are unfair. Food servings are huge and are very tasty. Service was solid. Gumbo ya ya and catfish po were great!
The shrimp gumbo was great but the pecan pie was even better!
The crawfish étouffée is great! Great customer service
BBQ shrimp was amazing. Service was good by me. Immediate seating And drinks. Bread in 5 min. Entree in 15 min.
Truly the best gumbo ever. We can't wait until we go back in February! Love the gumbo , love the chef !!
Pasta Jambalaya ! Taste of New Orleans in one dish!
Ate lunch there on a Wednesday the gumbo was good & crab cakes were larger than expected. The waitress was wonderful. Give the place a try.
Creole combo was tasty. Shrimp creole was served cold, but the rest were served warm to hot! Gumbo was quite delicious!
Great speedy service, fantastic jambalaya , strongest hurricane drinks in the Quarter.
When I complained to the man who CLAIMED to be the mgr and asked about southern hospitality he replied "there's a difference btw southern hospitality & a ignorant black"!!!
The Gumbo YaYa and the Pasta Jambalaya are DELICIOUS! The best I've had
Don't worry about trying the bbq shrimp its better elsewhere. Shrimp and oyster platter anf shrimp dinner are worth the money.
Gumbo yaya and seafood gumbo are great. Red beans and rice good too. Reasonably priced also.
If you can't do the "gluten thing" the bbq shrimp is REALLY good. #glutenfree
You must try the Banana Foster Pie ...a soft, creamy and delicious dessert !!!!
beautiful and slightly pretentious . worth every penny.
The food was ok, but it's very expensive for what you're getting. It's in a prime location to get tourists but I would skip this place and find somewhere with better food!
Delicious bloody marys and bananas foster ! See Pythias, she's the best!!!
Enjoyed the Funniest Ya-Ya ...ordered a 2nd bowl Togo. Plus they have great wait staff
If going for breakfast get there before before three pm
Ya Ya Gumbo is amazing!
Chicken andouile gumbo is great. Bussing the table when you've literally just put your fork down and haven't paid yet- not so great.
Ate here twice, service was great as well as the food. Awesome Bloody Marys .
We sat @ the bar & had a drink while waiting for The Natchez. Service was hospitable & friendly . Sorry for everyone that had crappy service.
Staff is friendly and entertaining!
Breakfast came quick and was ok. A little more expensive than we expected.
The gumbo was fantastic!
Amazing gumbo . Ask for Troy, best server we've had!
Good food, terrible service. They add gratuity to your bill automatically and then my waiter tried to hustle me to leave without getting my change. I know the game!
Ask for Jeff for your server.
Jambalaya was good.
Despite the other tips, I thought the service was great and the food was too.
The patio is pet friendly !
Very disappointing experience. The seafood gumbo was terrible.I still can't figure out what was in there. The jambalaya was a miss as well : the chicken tasted old and dry. Tourist trap!
The food is good. Service is too. The other people giving tips are ignorant
Great fried catfish and shrimp . Unimpressive jambalaya . No service.
It's just okay !! And the bacon was cooked in the same grill as fish or fish juice got on the bacon !!! GROSS !!
Very good food! Way to much, but the service isn't great.
Don't get a salad . The fish playlet tees are good.
Go to jacks brewery for drinks after
DO NOT GET THE MALIBU RUM PUNCH OR SOUTHERN COMFORT HURRICANE!
I will never go back, not the real New Orleans Flavors.
Disgusting red bean & rice . Etouffe is fishy. Prices are jacked up through the roof. Who wants to pay $17 for a po boy and an extra $3.75 for fries ?
Try the mojoto -fresh mint-delicious
