San Antonio Museum of Art

Free admission on Sunday from 10-noon. On 4/17 the museum European art collections is closed to the public. They offered free Rodin collection to make up for it.

Free Tuesdays from 4pm-9pm...no admission fee during these times.Sundays 10am-noon no admission fee...admission starts at noon.Every first Sunday of the month is family day...bring in ur kiddos!

The museum has a great selection of Egyptian and eastern art . Very nice but give yourself time to explore as the layout can be confusing

The collection of ancient Greek and Roman art is fantastic!

Remember - free admission is only for residents of the city . Tip: Pay money and go to the Briscoe Western Art Museum . So many things to see there.

A wonderful museum with extensive collections and a modern, updated feel throughout.

Lots of walking be prepared with comfy shoes . I learned the hard way lol. Loved the current exhibitions . Specially the Aphrodite and the Latin American.

Surprisingly good collection. Wow! Free Tuesdays from 4-9pm means a great crowd enjoying the varied collection.

Shouldn't take more than an hour or so to walk through. More if you're into studying each and every detail.

There Greek and Egyptian exhibits are wonderfully displayed , but there really is no bad exhibit in this museum ! ^_^

Huge disappointment, the Chihuly was dismantled, no one seems to know what happened to the Wyeth, and their Egyptian display is on loan from Boston - all stuff I've seen!

You will be amazed.Especially the Japanese Art section is awesome

There are more artifacts than artwork here. Former Lone Star Brewery . Great location, and very open throughout. Psychedelic artwork on display now in the main hall. $8 pass for adults.

A tip for the lades - Feminine supplies are available gratis in the first floor women's restroom .

This Is kinda neat they turned an old brewery into a museum and are like no pictures not even with the flash off and they are serious too Nazi like old coots enforce this with an iron fist.

This is a nice place 2 go 2 & see some art in San Antonio.

Get in for free Tues 4-9 and Sun 10-12
