This is the only chinese restaurant in China/Old Town that is consistently full of actual Chinese people. Salt & Pepper prawns . Tastier with the head on, easier to eat head off. Worth every cent.
Watch your bill especially if you have dim sum . Ask for a menu so you can keep tabs on what you order. Tried to gyp me by charging too much.
Cheap good fried eats. Try the shrimp dumplings . Who knew I liked eggplant ?
Hugh lunch portion , but only one wait person serving the entire place stillreccommended
Mediocre customer service but the food is authentic , tasty and delicious. The Honey Walnut Shrimp & Orange Chicken are a must try!
If you visit the Golden Horse I suggest you leave your 3 year old Triplets home.
Get the General Tso's Chicken . Quite possibly the dish they do best.
Have a go at the shrimp and scallop chow mein ! Delicious!
Chow fun shredded duck
The Dry Sautéed String Beans at the Golden Horse are excellent - a savory delight!
Beef dumpling soup is the best I ever had!
had the $6 lunch special . i think i ate 5 pounds of bbq pork chow mein . now have a $6 bellyache.
Lovely rooftop dining with a full vegan menu! I loved the gingered mushrooms and the kale salad. - Lauren
Teriyaki chicken is the way to go. Normally I dislike iceberg lettuce salad but their dressing is amazing and their teriyaki sauce is delicious. - Ian Ryan
My personal favorite is the McMinnville Cream (love the maple frosting and the cream filling - less cakey than the rest). The voodoo doll is a must-try, their jam filling is awesome. - Rachel Mercer
Knowledgeable tour guide! Lots of info to hear, as well as beautiful architecture, trees and flowers to see. I could stay for hours! Stop in and get a bite to eat or some tea too! - Ashley Carter
Expansive book metropolis! The gifts and stationery are as good as the books. Nice coffee shop too. - Natalia Baker
