Cakes that not only look perfect but also taste very good too! The cafe upstairs is very nice, with a slightly different twist compared to most of the other more traditional placed ! Great service too
Amazing strudel !! Really nice atmosphere - can see the opera house live performance screenings from the 2nd floor window.
Friendly service old world atmosphere. Perfect place to enjoy coffee or a glass of bubbly. And don't forget the sweets!
Originally commissioned by the Imperial Court as baker to the royal family. Palatial, elegant cafe . A+ on pastries chocolates , sandwiches & great coffee selections. Restaurant overlooks opera!
I know you're in Vienna and there's coffee places all around u don't know which one to try.Well no need to go any further because u r in the right place! The decoration is gorgeous and food is amazing!
Beautiful restaurant with a unique heritage. Delicious food and desert as well as service. The Sacher torte was amazing. Would come again.
awesome environment and decoration????????????????????????pastries are good too but honestly our choices were not fresh????????
I love this cafe ! Everything is fresh and yum ! They have the best cakes in town ❤️ I give it 10/10 ????
A very cozy place, with a small champaign bar upstairs. A lot of very tasty cakes to choose from, including Sacher Torte . Waiters were very friendly !
A grandiose little place, resplendent with winding steps that lead to a rammed upstairs chit-chat room. Terrible coffee , but the petite chocolates aren't too shabby.
Either food or interior - everything in this place is beautiful and delightful!
Elegant spot for coffee and pastries . Beautiful cafe with views of the opera house. Small portion sizes on mains but the pastries are phenomenal. Busy.
So beautiful place, you can sit there and enjoy the time! Try Apple strudel for sure!
Great Cafe downstairs and fun upstairs area . Multitude of cakes and truffles , ice coffee with ice cream and schlag... Superb
WHY THERE: Viennese café , interior. STUFF: good strudel , sacher etc. STAFF : friendly . LOCATION: mainstream (convenient). PRICES: higher average (reasonable)
Lovely old time elegant atmosphere! The perfect place to enjoy a cup of viennese hot chocolate .
Very lovey cafe abd cozy place with friendly staff and delicious cake you most be here
Nice place for trying apple strudel with the Opera view ! But coffee is not worth 5€
Very tasty cherry strudel ! Take with warm cream sauce - it is incredible combination of two!
Cozy , beautiful place, which suits the atmosphere of luxurious Vienna. Sacher was delicious.
Gorgeous place to go for a glass of champagne or a nice cup of coffee with cake .
Nostalgic atmosphere, piano music , sparkling Schlumberger, macarons and delightful cupcakes - all accompanied with perfect service.
Coffee was a little weak and the espresso tasted a little over roasted. The classic decor and good service made it a worthwhile visit though.
An elegant patisserie with a chic interior design . Great for an afternoon tea party or an after work vine!
The interior and staff is so great!
Fancy place right next to Staatsoper , fancy place , typical old Viennese atmosphere
Enjoy your delicious cake and the view of Vienna State Opera.
Cappuccino was okay here. Atmosphere was a little touristy on the 1st floor and pretentious on the 2nd floor.
Even though it is mentioned that you can make a reservation via email at their website, I never received a response. Even after my kind reminder.
Make sure to read about the history of the place (on the menu). And try some of the violet candies .
Very authentic atmosphere, typical old Viennese right next to Staatsoper and reasonable prices
Perfect hot chocolate and Sacher torte ! :) cozy place!! Highly recommended!
Nice service, good cakes . Gerstner cake is very tasty.
Try the Crosser Brauner and Flat white too
Not bad..staff aren’t very friendly .. and the creme on the cake was oily..
Really Good place. Apfel strudel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Coffee amazing. Proffessional service.
Place with a great view on opera house. Deserts are good, but the waiters were not so polite
The strawberry served on departure from there was a very nice surprise Thanks to gentleman!
Get there early for a fresh apple strudel . Ask for whip cream on side.
Gorgeous place and one very handsome shop staff at the first floor ????????
The sweets are OK, very beautiful but the taste was bland with loads of whipped cream inside. I was expecting stronger flavors...
The service is awful. They made us stand in 2 queues for 30 min only to say that there’s no free table for us and so we must wait, again (no ETA). They should have known the capacity at the entrance.
Coffee and cake . Get the almond one with the triangle shape!
Outstanding service ???????? a must in Vienna ????????????????
They let you sit here for as long as you want. Great selection of cakes
Absolutely delicious Sacher, beautiful place and great staff
Kardinalstorte (sp?) amazing!!! Best cake we had all trip
Typical tourist trap. Long queue. Regular sausages priced at 8 euros.- seats near the window suffer from cold draft - bill arrived without us asking for it and it was impossible to pay with card
This place should be amazing but the coffee is dreadful. They can't make a decent cappuccino - almost zero foam. The chocolates were nice, but they need a decent barista.
Great view of Staatsoper , especially at night, from separes by windows on first floor. Alright service, okay cakes .
Nice location, delicious cakes and coffee. There's even turkish coffee in the menu! - Evren Akgül
A must visit cafe, dont forget to try the traditional coffee of vienna which i forgot whats it name - Mohamed Al Rais
I'm second time visit! Tortes are really fabulous. Not too buzzy like Sacher and Demel. Nice konditorei in wien. # - lawmancer
Breathtaking cathedral in the center of Vienna. Free entrance. Definitely worth a visit. - Amaury J
The interior is amazing! Be sure to check the position of your seats, especially among the side balconies. The view varies in quality. - Ash Menon
The scenic views are unbeatable - since it's directly connected to the U-Bahn, do take the time to explore this wonderful architectural square. - Andreja Fajfar
