For New York pizza it was good. We got the margarita pizza and a BYO . So much pizza ! I would suggest this to anyone who likes New York style pizza for sure! Fairly kid friendly too!
Like most places in Portland, they consider themselves very trendy ; they only accept a limited number of reservations a night. That being said: AMAZING PIZZA . GET THE ONE WITH TRUFFLE OIL
Consistent, excellent high temp pizza . Knowledgeable staff . Pizza rules are for your protection. PB&J for weekend lunch is great. Good salad options.
Make reservations online. Go with a 1/2 ny red and 1/2 diablo blanco pizza . Pizzas are one size and plenty big for 2 hungry people.
I had such a great experience at Apizza Scholls and it wasn't just the food. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The food was incredible and worth every penny.
Anthony Bourdain is a patron of this pizza institution. The owner makes his dough with such precision that only a limited quantity is made per day, so it’s best to make a reservation way in advance.
Maybe there's something wrong with me but I don't think the pizza here lives up to the hype. I prefer Ken's Artisan Pizza any day. Or if you're up for a drive, Double Mountain Brewery in Hood River .
Potentially the best pizza in Portland with an old school suburban pizza place feel.
I always get the veggie plate and the margarita pizza . Gotta go classic in a place that has such good pizza !
I visited this place at a friends invitation ... went as a family and must say I loved it! I like it simple so order the Margo'rita and good dark beer and your day is set! Go early and enjoy! Read more
Get here early and expect to wait up to 1.5 hours for a table. But I can tell you the pizza here is worth the wait! Sounds crazy, but I'm not kidding. Get some!
Best Pizza in Portland . Be mindful that while they are purists, the pizza is completely worth it., Try the Amore!
The white pizza here is fantastic. In fact, all the pizza here is fantastic. But get the white.
People go here to eat the outstanding handmade fresh pizza . One of the best Pizza places in Portland!
Long wait but the food makes it worth! ???? 2 Tartufo was my favorite ????
This place transcends Foursquare tips. It is simply not possible to convey just how good this pizza is, or even suggest a pie that stands above the others. But order the margarita with truffle oil .
These pies are heavenly & be sure to get their Caesar salad (the dressing was divine).
Thin-crust East Coast/New Haven-style pizza , this southeast joint closes when they out of dough , which they stick in a 650-900-degree oven and char the daylights out of. [Eater 38 Member] Read more
Best pizza I've had on the west coast. Better than anything I've had in NYC also. Definitely worth the long wait .
Unbelievable. There are no words. One of the best pizza's you will ever come across. Get a regular Margarita
Incredible pizza , but can often times be a 1 hour wait (if that's a bust try Lovely's 50/50 or Ken's Artisan Pizza )
Do half Bacon Bianca & Sausage with Peppers . For good measure toss some arugula over the whole thing !!!!!!!
Gorgeous gorgeous crumb!
Their anchovies on the Ceasar salad are great, makes me want to get them on a pizza .
Best pizza I've ever had. Mandatory on any visit to PDX.
Try the ny white! Ricotta and visable slices of garlic . SO GOOD. Best crust around and is closest to a ny thin crust .
The sausage and peppers pizza is so good, so perfect, that it brings tears to my eyes every time I eat it. (And not because the peppers are spicy !)
Some of the best pizza in town . Simply well executed.
Get in line before opening. Quite possibly one of the best pizza's I've ever had and as a New Yorker, I don't give that praise lightly.
Diablo blanco is an amazing thing! Great hand made pizza
Above average, not worth putting yourself through their wait list when there is plenty of other delicious pizzaswares in Portland.
love the margherita & amatriciana! must order the caesar salad !
Love their original sauce... Almost like Venice style
From @mrgan: "Get the margherita or the tartufo bianco . Show up by 5PM or expect a one-hour wait."
Make sure you order the cherry peppers on your pizza . Amazing!
They're open Monday to Saturday from 5PM to 9:30PM and Sunday 4PM to 8PM. #apizzascholls #delicious
The Amitriciana(sic?) is my favorite.
New York White Pie is worth the wait
The pizza diablo is no joke it packs a little kick.
Takeout only Monday through Thursday. We found this out the hard way.
Closes midday between lunch and dinner . Check the hours before you go.
