It's a great place to learn about the early train system. Plus, plus they have train rides . I recommend not doing this in the middle of a hot day.
What a great roundhouse museum . You get 3 days on the $10 donation (adult) $4 kids. My 2 1/2 year old son loved climbing in the cars and the model train exibit. Very nice. Plan to come back.
One of Georgia's only operating steam locomotives . Become a member and get free rides AND admission to a few other museums .
The tour on the Steam Locomotive is a nice experience. Make sure you get the tours , they are very insightful.

Family Happenings occur on Saturdays, usually once per month, usually on the 2nd Saturday of the month. The diesel train rides are a big hit with the kiddos!
