Hidden gem of a restaurant in the LES. Hangar steak was delicious and the potatoes were next level. Cheesy amazingness. Short rib was good too and guac is a great starter. Solid cocktails .

Solid mezcal and pulque based drinks and solid Mexican fare make this tiny bar a worthwhile visit. Guac with pomegranate seeds and crab tostada were both solid. I liked the spicy Oaxaca Express .

This place is all around great! Can't go wrong with any of the apps. My second time there I had the chicken mole dinner which was superb. Alex does an amazing job w/the variety of cocktails . 😍🇲🇽

The very definition of “tiny hidden gem ”. Probably no bigger than your average Lower East Side apartment , serving fresh and tasty Mexican. The queso is out of control— order it.

VERY good Mexican restaurant favored by many foodie Mexicans living in NYC. Tiny space so get here early or be prepared to wait.

Sit at the bar and talk to the bartender about tequila . If you're lucky he'll do some blind tastes tests to help you find tequila that you enjoy sipping on.

Waited 45 minutes on a Sunday morning when four other people were in here to be served seven home fries and an admittedly fantastic eggs Benedict dish.

Great guacamole - highly recommend the one with pomegranate seeds . Do be warned that the restaurant is small and the service is quite slow.

Breakfast - delicious food, large portions . A little cramped but worth the compromise.

Ask for the spicy tomatillo salsa . Some of the staff doesn't know it exists but it does and it's great.

Good classic margaritas . It’s easy to underestimate the importance of this. Well balanced and good to go.

Rigo, the bartender , makes some mean mezcal cocktails . The matador norteno was delicious.
