Very peaceful ...nice to walk around. Not too much to do besides enjoy the peace and scenery, but that's fine by me. There is a small museum/info center to visit as well .
Awesome little park to walk around. The mill is beautiful! Great way to spend an hour getting to know that special someone a bit better. Even if you've known them for years!
One of my favorite places for photo shoots, the mill , dam , lake , boardwalk , marsh, nature trails , birds big and small all offer great photo opportunities .
Such a pretty place to hang out and learn a little history!
Beautiful Park , with a nice museum for kids to show how a mill works.
Fun historic mill . I think it's geared more toward younger kids. I did like the hiking trail that surrounds the lake .
Breathtaking! Great place to walk
Good history lesson as the mill dates back to 1750s. Suggest going on 3rd weekend of the month when they are processing.
I would like to be able to take my human for a walk there; however, I am banned from this park .
Awsome park ! Beutiful lake and water fall. They also have hiking trails
Go fishing off the boardwalk ! Read more
Beautiful place to take photos and go on walks
Cute photo ops!
bautiful quiet trails ...
Parts of the trail are on wooden planks, and when it rains can get quite slippery and also sinks a bit in the mud. I’d recommend wearing shoes with good traction! - Christian Alvarez
Overall we like this park. Plenty of open spaces for the kids to run and free play. Playground is above average. Biking/hiking trail by the river is great. Downside: sometimes sketchy people.. - Noel Yakubowski
Fresh local produce. Whatever is in season in North Carolina. There is another part for our of state items. Vendors are very nice and welcoming. They give you advice on how to cook veggies new to you. - Andy Gastauer
