Order the half Peking duck , load up a pancake , smother it with hoisin sauce and repeat. The Chinese version of tacos . This is enough for two people to share, but I can down it by myself.
Amazingly good grub. Get the Peking Duck , of course, and try the Dan Dan Noodles for some sweet heat. Soups are excellent. Even the iced coffee was a cut above. *****
The duck is very good, but I recommend the roast pork/shrimp dumpling combo over a bowl of noodles . I'm not sure if that is listed in the menu, but they'll make any combination you ask for.
1. Best braised beef , ever! 2. A duck lover's heaven. 3. Shrimp dumplings (in soup ). These are the top three here - very tasty noodle soups !
Just an all around great spot. Friday and Saturday nights are very busy, your food may be tepid by the time it reaches your table. Any other time it's great.
I would say the Peking Duck dinner for 4 is more for 6 people. Really good duck pancakes !
I enjoyed the duck ! Though, I wish it had been presented more like it is in China. Maybe it was the timing, but the service seemed rushed and quite busy (Saturday night). Great 2nd course of duck too!
Thai tea is delicious. Also any smoked meats over noodles or rice . My personal fave is pork and duck over wide rice noodle soup with veggies .
The half duck , Hong Kong style is perfectly crispy and comes with white rice to soak up the juices . Sooooooo Good.
Other traditional foods , besides the house specialty , duck , are carried from the kitchen with more speed than style. Beer is available. Read more
The best of the plain ol' Chinese restaurants . They have your standards but do it a step better than the place around the corner.
The Peking Duck is excellent
"The friendly service keeps customers coming back to this ever-packed oldie but goodie. Be sure to try fried wontons and a massive bowl of duck soup ."
The Peking Duck and honey BBQ pork are must try items.
Love the duck and fried rice . Fresh, flavorful duck with the rice is a large portion ! Favorite place!
Found this place by chance 5 yrs ago on vacation. Try the roasted pork and duck soup with udon noodles - do delicious! BUT THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. Luckily ATM IS ON PREMISES!
Best Chinese in Philly or NY. Get the peking duck and the shrimp dumpling noodle soup . Half peking duck can feed 2 if you are not too hungry bc it comes in 2 courses.
Come before 6:30pm on a Saturday night to avoid a long wait . Get 3-4 friends to share the Peking duck dinner for 2. Very large portions for just 2 people.
dont care what some say about it, but I enjoy it for how good it is, cheap and quick. Sometimes too quick, even has happy ending ice cream .
Pressed tofu with chive blossom is really good and it's a very generous portion but it's also very salty
The roasted duck here is always my favorite. A lot of good food with good price!
Definitely check out the roast duck , friend dumpings w/ plum sauce , and congee w/ fried dough but prepare for some long waits if you're hoping to eat in.
Legit Cantonese style roast duck . Haven't had a bad dish here.
The braised beef wonton noodle soup was outstanding. Add some chili to it (it's available at your table)
Duck with pancake , fried squid are delicious !!!
Fantastic peking duck . Order the one with pancakes ...remember there is a 2nd course of a stirfry duck+vegetables dish that comes with a side of rice .
Order the duck over rice w/ vegetables and have a friend order the pork or roast pig over rice w/ veg . Then split up the proteins. It's cheaper by a couple bucks.
Peking duck , all the way, no doubt, the thing to get when you're here.
Must-try: Peking duck soup . You can ask for another bowl of soup for free!
Ben Puchowitz, chef of Matyson, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Roasted pork wonton noodle soup . Read more
order the roasted duck and moo sho pork . mix the duck in with the moo shoo for a kicked up peking duck !!
Great Peking duck . Try the baby bok choy , too.
Steamed Dumplings , coconut shrimp , general tsos , Peking duck . Every time. Every damn time.
Eat it all. It’s all good.
Everything! especially the black bean dishes.
Forgot to add to my tip avout the meats over rice , it's chepaer than getting separate dishes that have two protiens over rice . You'll see what I mean when you see the menu.
Must try the pan fried dumplings and the calamari
Duck , rice , noodles , wonton , congee
Great comfort food while traveling!
The roast pork with green vegetable rice platter is an unbeatable deal at $6.50
The best Peking Ducks in the city
Always have good food, been there many times
It seems like Sang Kee in Wynnewood has sucked all of the energy out of this Chinatown spot, as the quality of food here has steadily declined.
Beef and squid congee for $5.25! Delicious!!!
Duck , dumplings , pork buns , bok choy
Get the Duck Roll ! It is delicious!
The food in general is great.
The fried dumplings were underwhelming. Get the peking duck and ask for steamed buns instead of pancakes .
The best duck and noodle bowls in Chinatown.
I always order the Roast Pork and Rice platter and usually share the Fried Dumplings , they're pretty great.
