The Charleston Place

The service at the Belmond was over the top! They were very professional and eager to please. Rooftop bar at the pool is a fun spot to visit. Room was beautiful but walls are thin - very noisy !!

It’s a very good hotel . The service is awesome, the food very good and it’s extremely well located. The rooms are comfortable , except that the AC is extremely noisy in many rooms.

Loved our stay at #CharlestonPlace! The restaurants , location, lobby and amenities are great. I highly recommend it if you want to stay in downtown Charleston.

Good: updated room, location, pool. Bad: logistics- wrong room type, construction 3ft from room, cab to airport $20/pp & no card reader. All could have been communicated ahead of time, but wasn't.

This was waiting for us in our room, so cute and great service, however had things stolen by the maids.

Overrated! Good service but hotel is way too big, looks very dated, could use some updating. Wouldn't expect someone selling jewelry in the lobby, kinda strange for an upscale hotel .

Service is lacking compared to the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro which is also a Orient Express hotel . Lazy American attitude!

Do not say you do not stay at the hotel . They will not let you in otherwise.
