An all round classic pub . In the summer enjoy sitting on the Heath in the sun, in the winter enjoy a cosy sofa in the warmth. The food is excellent, and the drinks are well priced for Blackheath.

Nice friendly pub which serves traditional food . Has a real log fire which makes it cosy in the winter and a conservatory in the summer which keeps the place full of light.

Good beer , comfortable , lets dogs in (and gave us a bowl of water and dog biscuits ), good £10 deal on a very good burger + a beer , and friendly staff . Staff need better communication.

Best pub on the Heath . Friendly staff , solid food and a great selection of drinks. Prices are reasonable too. Strong recommendation.

Two vegan mains on offer! Lasagne and burger/fries options. Menu changes regularly and clearly identifies vegan items .

This place would be awesome but in a half empty pub I can't hear the person next to me because of the loudness of the music . Unnecessary.

Good food and nice interior

Sunday roast was dry and over cooked. Crab cakes had no discernible crab . Salad was a sad, vinegar drowned affair.

Strawberry cider and raspberry beer . Say no more.

The Eton Mess is delicious if you fancy a pudding after dinner . Highly recommended.

Service is getting shit. God help of you want to get served. Most staff haven't a clue how to serve. More interested in socialising behind the bar .
