Interested in sailing around Newport Harbor ? Then be sure to stop in at Sail In Newport located at Fort Adams! Best sailing deals around town if you're a beginner or a pro. Can't beat the view either!

If you can catch the Newport Festival Foundation shows, either jazz or folk, you are in for a treat. Fort Adams is by far the coolest festival/concert venue I've ever been to. Can't beat the scenery.

Take the #Newport #Harbor Taxi - from #Perotti Park , near the Newport #Marriott and Visitors Bureau parking garage . It's a great way to get over to #FortAdams to see #NewportJazzFest :-)

Caroline Fogarty

Easily the coolest festival venue in New England. The folk festival is amazing every year.

It's an old fort. What more can I say? Our noontime lobster bake was being held within the walls of the fort otherwise we would not have been here.

Discover Newport

Make sure that you catch a water taxi from downtown Newport if you are headed to the Folk or Jazz Festivals at Fort Adams, it's the only way to commute in the city-by-the-sea!

Head in for a guided tour off-season, and you may luck into a private tour .

Maybe I'm missing something, but when I finally found the fort, it was gated and overgrown with plants.
