Though not as scenic as its counterpart Wollman, Laser Pool & Ice Rink is less crowded and more economical. Fewer tourists venture here, making it better for skaters looking to practice their skills.
The first session from 11am - 245pm is nice the pool is always empty the second session from 3p - 645p Tends to be more rowdy there are alot of teens that don't pay mind to young swimmers

Less busy than it's southern neighborhood , one can catch (or compete!) in a hockey game at Lasker.
The adult hockey league is cheap and it's the bomb.

Open stick and puck sessions on holiday weekends are great pond hockey fun in the middle of central park .
