A salt and pepper beach just outside of Hana. There is a few food vendors and nice picnic tables to stop and take a break during your drive. This beach is used by the locals but they are friendly .
Nice view to see the Alau island . Ideal location early morning to photograph the sunrise . Or come by around lunch time to grab a plate at Huli Huli chicken and hang out by the beach .
Not the greatest beach for swimming or surfing , but wonderful for sunrise !
Leave yourself enough time to enjoy this pretty beach . More chill than hyped Hamoa.
Nice place to swim . Beware of rocks on the sides though.
Beautiful exotic looking beach. Worth the diversion from the road to Hana. There are a couple caves to swim at too. I believe this is the only black sand beach on the Island. - Adam Stallman

Great waves for paddle boarding, bodysurfing, longboard and boogie boards. - Wil S
