This is THE spot. Apparently the late night chef 's hangout, so you know it's good. Chicken fried rice is simple, I know, but it's so damn good and lasts you a couple meals.
People may come to joke about their "big wongs," but the food is pretty good! Get the Roast Duck , Roast Pork and Fried Egg on Rice (Sam Bo Fan).
Forget whatever rating people leave, this is the best late night spot period. You’ll mess around and walk by this place if you’re not looking
This place is AMAZING! My favorites were the beef schezwan style and string beans(my two year old son was fighting us for them)!
New Big Wong's filthy violations & other closures Check out the story on WUSA9.com: <aclass="entity url"rel="nofollow" href="http://on.wusa9.com/1dw4PVp"target="_blank" data-sig="iMfIDfTJCKGEYbyp4BvNBdJM53I=" onmousedown="fourSq.ui.OutgoingLink.mousedown($(this), event)" data-source="tip-text">http://on.wusa9.com/1dw4PVp</a>. Also there has been several assaults at this location! Its assumed to be TRIAD related
New Big Wong sanitation trouble. Third health dept closure order cites 32 violations: dirty duck hooks, rodent droppings, contamination control, others
Good food, and prices ???? Good service too!
Salt & Pepper Shrimp , Singapore Style noodles & shrimp make a delightful late night meal.
Egg foo young is a giant portion ! And tastes yummy!!
The fried tofu is really yummy
I highly recommend the General Tso's shrimp . Best in the city .
Try the Sesame chicken & brocoli - Don't that look good? :) (via @Foodspotting)
The crispy whole human fish was amazing and under 20 bucks. Enough to feed 2 fat asses.
Great lunch specials ....sweet and sour shrimp is...oooohhh
Salt and Pepper Pork was great along with their Beef Chowfun
Beef congee was delicious ????
New Big Wong closed AGAIN in health suspension: 32 violations, including roaches - "gross unsanitary." @Wusa9 Workers told us upside down fish in tank were alive-city cited dead Passed reinspection
Question is, what’s not good here. Outstanding egg foo young.
Peking duck was really good!
Antonio Burrell, chef of Agua 301, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Cantonese-style lobster . Read more
It was good! Egg and spring rolls have shrimp in them.
Great restaurant , and the first tip is a lie!!!
This place isn't bad for the money but be warned they take the tip as you're leaving and if you don't "leave enough" they'll freak on you
Only place I know in the city that offers Chow Foon
Very disappointed. My boyfriend ordered "black pepper beef rib " and beef was under cooked. He sent the food twice and food was still not cooked enough. Beef was red and chewy.
Decided to be brave and ordered the jelly fish and pork loin . Big mistake.
The half order of peking duck is one of the best things I have ever eaten.
The seating and atmosphere is fun and family friendly
BEST LATE NIGHT CHINESE FOOD...late for me is round 4am
Hot fresh good food
Great place...seems to be modelled after NYC's Big Wong.
Most items are $6 and under for lunch
Pretty good food. Did the Broccoli Beef and Rice . Open late .
Seconded. The kimchi is LEGIT.
Don't honor the check in special.
I love new big Wong
da pork chops are on point!
Named after me. :-)
This place is terrible. And the waitresses stand in front of you & wait for their tip.
Good kimchi
Best place for Chinese food in DC! Take out or dine-in. Very friendly service, too. - Nathan Hartmann
super nachos on the first floor. shredded chicken, jalapenos - Ben Turner
Definitely get there early. I like to grab a beer before the snow with my friends. It's a great looking theater with comfy seats and a good location. - Molly Cushing
Probably one of the most beautiful entrances to any part of the city. - Benjamin Jancewicz
