The cubanita torta is one of the best sandwiches I've had. Definitely a lot of strong flavor (toasted garlic on the roll + habanero mustard ), but it came together very nicely: Rich, spicy goodness!
Perennial fave La Condesa reflects the culinary trends of Mexico City 's hip neighborhood Colonia Condesa. Feeling adventurous? Try the chapulines – a Oaxacan specialty of tiny fried grasshoppers. Read more
Everything!! Chipotle purée and slivered almond guac , steak and manchego taco , chicken taco , chicken molé , and flourless chocolate cake dessert . The cocktails are amazing too!!
Had the guacamole dip , then the snapper ceviche with turmeric, ginger , and lemon , very flavorful ???? and the grilled cauliflower salad and it was delightful. Ended with Dulce de Leche for dessert ????
One of the best mexican restaurants I've been. Delicious Hamachi Ceviche , Tostadas de Atun and Elote. Amazing signature cocktails , go for the El Cubico (with tobacco leaf infused Cazadores Reposado ).
Love great food, great atmosphere, and tequila (my fave) then put this top on your list of things to-do. Little known tidbit: rent out the basement for a private dinner that will blow your mind!
One preparation you will never encounter anywhere else is costillas de puerco , pork ribs glazed with spicy guava and served with sweet plantains , pickled onions , fresh cheese , green salsa , & cilantro . Read more
We tried the Macarel ceviche (very good), street corn (very good), chicken (very good), carnitas (very good), and steak (meat was good but covered in manchego cheese , which wasn't our thing) tacos
Prefer their bar setting. Unique cocktails with an option to add an extra spicy kick and great bar snacks like the seared sweet peppers
Don't know where to begin. My fav eatery in Austin! Get the Alma Blanca cocktail ! Also yellowfin tuna tostadas , the carne asada , and please try the Cafe con Leche dessert .. To die for!!
Loved it! Service was fantastic as was the food (aguacate torta ), and watermelon juice martini . I had them add just a smudge of mint and some lemongrass hibiscus (?) salt and it was beyond great !
Amazing cocktails . The best ceviche we’ve ever had and great ambiance. Personally also loved the charred cauliflower
Each bite is packed with flavor and thoughtful textures. Make sure to try their tasty margaritas and the street corn covered in mountains of cotija cheese .
Try their delicious cocktails : habanero margarita , watermelon elderflower martini and 'the corn one'. Highlights: atun tostada , Acapulco ceviche , steak & eggs for brunch and birthday cake ice cream .
Aweome mexican food with a great atmosphere and design. The classic margarita is perfectly made. Also you can mix and match the tacos on the menu.
This luxe Mexican beauty reflects the culinary trends of Mexico City 's hip neighborhood Colonia Condesa. Try the 4-guac sampler and the chapulines, a Oaxacan specialty of fried grasshoppers.
This place is definitely overrated. Except atmosphere, Mexican food was ordinary and quite expensive . Just go to Torchy's taco & get the best value for your money in addition to the best Mexican food .
Chef Rene Ortiz's take on modern Mexican cuisine . Not to miss: the riffs on guacamole , the wild tacos , the cocktails , and pastry chef Laura Sawicki's ice creams . [Eater 38 Member]

Great place to eat, drink and socialize. Most of all, do yourself a favor and get their Mexican Corn on the cob. If you like corn , you'll fall in love.
One of the best mexican restaurants you'll ever find outside of Mexico. You can't go wrong with the carne asada with chimichurri and the four salsas sampler!
So good! big fan of the decor and service. Had the chile relleno and the hongas dish and both were delicious. They did take a long time to bring @orion's dessert..damn goats . (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
start with the alma blanca . maybe some of that corn too. then pick anything else from the menu -- you can't go wrong. (chef ortiz used to work at la esquina back in new york city !)
The Carne Asada will change your life. The El Cubico is a personal favorite for a cocktail . It usually gets shared around the table, so buyer beware!
Loved the Alma Blanca and the taquitos . A little over priced but very well done and gourmet.
You have to try the Acapulco Ceviche and the surprisingly tasty cauliflower steak . The guacamole tasting app is also a must.
Awesome cocktails , great happy hour , killer vibe. Very trendy . Try the street corn . But, overpriced/overrated food and issues with service.
Forget well tequila shots and sugary margaritas . Hit this swanky restaurant and bar for modern drinks with Latin spirits . The Margarita La Condesa will change your perception of margaritas forever.
SO SO good. Guacamole sampler , fish or carnitas tacos , and dulce de leche dessert . UN-real.
All the food was wonderful but the service was a little strange. Maybe caught them on a weird night? Very accommodating of dietary restrictions and drinks were wonderful. Guac is awesome.
El Cubíco is different, but amazing. They have a great selection of cocktails .
Sentiment is up after a great brunch . Salad , tiradito, masa all quite good just wish the menu was larger
The grilled Mexican corn on the cob was the best thing I've eaten in a long time. Really can't go wrong here. Make sure you try a cocktail
Best margaritas ! Also the Mexican street corn and a of the seafood . So much flavor.
Cauliflower steak is a surprisingly delicious and filling vegan option ! More upscale than the average Mexican place in Austin
Local food close to the convention center ! Mexico City-inspired dishes with Texas ingredients. Try their four kinds of guacamole . Sodas are all cane sugar sweetened, sparkling water is free.
El Califa (NY Strip-tacos) topped with crusted Manchego . Complimentary elotes from the kitchen very nice of them...and tasty.
Do a tequila taste test with more than 80 varieties, all offered by this eclectic Mexican restaurant . One unique & favorite dish is the costillas de Puerco : pork ribs with plaintains , onions , & cheese
The best margarita in town - order the 'classic margarita ' so smooth made with Cointreau and sit outside. Pair with the delish pork tacos and thank GOD for food
Try the Costillas de Puerco . Some of the best barbecued pork ribs in a city full of pedigreed pork ribs : three generous sections with a sweet, smoky glaze and meat that falls right off the bone Read more
The “mariscos” ceviche is the best I’ve had in my life (and I’m a big ceviche fan!)
The El Cubico is the best cocktail you'll have in Austin and the red wine braised octopus will make you cry (in a good way)
Best happy hour in Austin. 1/2 off all signature and classic cocktails and specially priced bar food with LOTS to choose from.

Though the staff 's attitudes can often be off-putting, and many of the items are quite over-priced, and the wait is sometimes frustrating, the gluten-free choices available here are 100% amazing.
Chilangos for brunch on the patio is the best. Wish they had Vietnamese ice coffee .
Some of the best non taco truck Mexican in Austin. Get the guac and for brunch the huevos !
Cubanita was ???????? even if the service was slow (when it wasn't crowded ...). Get the guac too!
grab the guac with the seasonal toppings: the pomegranate + feta is to die for / great margaritas
Best happy hour for cocktails . El Cubico and Alma Blanca are two of our favorite cocktails in the city .
