Excellent coffee from staff who know what they're doing. Nice place to chill , although it can be busy on the weekends.

Anthony

Definitely the best latte in Washington DC. Practices the "crop to cup" philosophy and benefits small African coffee farmers. Delicious iced coffee as well . Super friendly staff and cool indoor space!

Steve Lee

Coffee pros of the highest order. Doesn't matter if you like your coffee mild our strong, black or creamed , straight up or cappuccino , these talented artists have you covered. Clean , clean , clean !

Delaney Walsh

They recently redid the interior and I think there are even more couches and comfy chairs ! A great place to get work done. Good food and awesome music too.

Michelle Blam

I like it here! It's a bit expensive , but the ambiance is nice and the people are friendly . Plus it's close to my internship! Free wifi and comfy chairs are a bonus.

Joey Sours

Great coffee , great atmosphere, super nice staff ! They also just started offering delicious gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches using fresh bread and gourmet cheeses . Check it out!

EDUARDO ROMERO

Pour-overs are very good, try Virunga beans. They have at least three different beans from different regions of Rwanda .

Will

Great(!) coffee and non-coffee menu (e.g. Macadamia Nut Mocha Latte !). Great African art work! Coffee is sourced locally and from Rwanda ! Smart / good-looking crowd. Free wi-fi. Food beats Strbks

Behrad Eats

Great coffee shop where they source their coffee from Rawandan bourbon beans.

Anthony

Usually hard to get a seat so get here early if you really want one. Best coffee in DC , in my opinion.

Eric Haglund

Pick up some of the Musasa coffee . It's only a special offering but hopefully they'll add it to the permanent selection of coffees . I've tried them all and I think Musasa is my favorite.

Steve Lee

Really the best cappuccino in town ! Go for the 16 ounce traditional cappuccino . 3 ounces of espresso and creamy foamed milk . Devine!

Jason

Get a Mexican hot chocolate , 1-2 shots of espresso , on ice...you’re welcome

Evan Stephens

Incredible espresso , also baked goods , sandwiches , various coffee drinks

Sandra Rubinchik

This is a great spot to nurse a coffee and get some work done on a Friday afternoon.

Ardvaark

Solid wifi . You know it's good when the router is just a plain commodity Asustek, and some crappy branded ad-filled thing.

Courtney B

One of the best coffee shops in DC. Great place to work or relax.

Jaya Punetha

The ambience is really nice, white mocha is outta the world :) there was even a cool leaf drawn over the coffee since we had it there..beats starbucks anytime!

Toby Watkins

Might have been served the best caramel iced latte ever here. Do recommend.

Yuri B

Great place to try full leaf tea pressed through an espresso machine!

Mary Glazener

One of the first places I tried moving here. Absolutely, splendid.

Gillian Diebold

Tons of seating, get the lavender cold brew

Jürgen Dietl

Nice Place but unfortunately they put a Traditional Cappuccino into a paper cup instead of porcelain cup what they also have.

Anthony DeLuise

Awesome espresso and a surprisingly good amount of outlet-accessible seating.

S

Primarily serving various Rwandan coffees , this is some of the best coffee in DC !

David Earl

Try the hot horchata (rice milk/cinnamon syrup ). It's delicious. Mexcican Hot Chocolate is great too.

Jess Zimbabwe

They make hummus to order, with your choice of beans, spices, and level of garlic . Mmmm.

Netta Kivilis

Cool atmosphere - spacious and breezy , but espresso drinks are just ok.

magnus gf

Good atmosphere, iced coffee , inexpensive

Kurtis Shank

Excellent Rwandan drip!

Eric Breese

Recently remodeled – space to sit and work!

Alex Priest

Fantastic coffee , love the banana bread and the outmeal raisin cookies (so far... Gonna try everything i can, haha!)

Tyler Chartier

Free 12oz coffee with your 1st check-in

Alex Priest

Cinnamon latte + cherry white chocolate cookie is the way to go. Can't recommend it enough.

Caroline Lee

Pastries and sandwiches are good, but the coffee is just OK. A shame since they have such a good espresso machine.

Allyson Rudolph

Lemon Charger: tea steeped in hot lemonade instead of hot water. It sounds weird, but it is SO GOOD.

Aaron Rosenthal

One of the only Mattes in town !

Abhi Khurana

Friendliest baristas in DC!
