Covert Park at Mt. Bonnell

Don't let the stairs scare you. It's a short way up and once you get up top it'll just be an easy stroll. Great views of the river !

An extremely short hike (106 steps to be exact) to the highest point in the city . This hilltop park give you an awesome view of the Austin skyline and gorgeous homes along the Colorado River .

One of the best views of Austin, but you will need to work for it with all the steps . Famous as a make out spot for teenagers and one of the best step workouts for all!

If you want to see Downtown, after climbing the steps there's a path on the left (10 o'clock), follow it and climb on top of the stone table.

If you are a garden ornament, get a very nice lass to carry you up. (Promise her cuddles at the top, it's very romantic at sunset , and frankly the polite thing to do.)
