Amazing victorian pub with outstanding big stained glass window . Not so crowdy. And food is delicious - check hemade spinach tarte .

Still the best pub in Crouch End with the best Cider (try the Cotswold for not too sweet cider ) and excellent grub and service.. Now for that pint!

I used to enjoy a lunchtime session with Laughing John and Boxer John, or a game of dominoes with Buster in the Seychelles bar . Sometimes a bit rowdy when the Travellers visit on karaoke nights.

I've had the £5 cod & chips here on a Friday afternoon. They were really tasty and nicely done! ...good beer garden too. Always seems to have screaming babies here tho', oh well :)

Drink sensibly

Don't bother ordering the burgers on the World Cup menu - they're MINISCULE!! really piss-takingly tiny. What a rip-off!! They should be ashamed.
