Fresh spaghettini with blue crab--al dente and flavorful. Heirloom tomato salad with grilled peach : refreshing. Knowledgeable , attentive and fun bartender team. Try fiori darancoo, a bourbon cocktail .

Begin with the butter-poached oysters topped with caviar or the "mare e monte" (a marriage of scallops , truffles , and bone marrow ) before moving on to the toothsome pastas or the robust veal chop . Read more

The room is soulless, but Michael White produces some of the best haute Italian cooking in town . One of our best restaurants for 2012!

Paula Buzzo

Impeccable service. We order the five course menu and was devine. Starts with crudo and caviar , next house made Spaghetti , then Lamb (the best), manchego cheese and Chocolate dessert . We recommend.

James H.

Delightful meal Delicious food and great service. Nice ambiance. What more would one want. Michael White is master of pasta and seafood . Both combined here.

Rachel R

Amazing ambiance, even better food - awesome Michelin star option for a special occasion . Presentation and service are impeccable. Spiral staircase and rose tree in Christmas time are a treat.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. I didn't think it possible to find new versions of old European dishes so comforting. Great pasta . Some time with the smart/great bartenders is a must.

Sophia Liu

Beautiful decor and great service. Similar menu style and dishes to Marea, but Marea still reigns. ????Pictured: crab spaghetti / Favs: Black ink pasta

Grace Ferraro

Modern Italian cuisine , fun cocktails , impressive wine list , cool ambiance & attentive service . Mouthwatering menu made selection quite difficult. I highly recommend the Uovo, Granchio and Agnolotti .

Lamia F.

The service was nothing less than perfect! the food was delicious especially the spaghetti .I also highly recommend you to try the affogato .

Ask for a table by the window; order Crudo di Passera, Insalata di Astice and Polpo appetizers , Trofie Nero and Spaghetti for pasta , Spada and Ippoglosso for fish , Abbachio for meat and Torta di Olio

Michael White 's ode to expense accounts has great pasta (obviously), generous scotch pours and exceptionally executed appetizers . Great ambience for all you midtown types.

Always incredible food and service. Super comfortable seating and great setting for working lunches .

Paola Viscogliosi

Anything and everything. We have had the spallina. The gnocchi , the capes are. The lobster soup . It’s all great plus the service and wine . You will never go wrong here.

Paul S.

One of my favorite burgers in Manhattan. I always eat at a table across from the bar . I’m there every few months. Fun place to take friends to catch up.

Teresa

Ambience, service and food are all amazing. The seafood pasta and main courses are cooked to perfection, and the desserts are decadent.

Julia

We visited it during NYC Rest.Week and were so disappointed. Chicken mousse was prepared ahead as it had crusts on the edges, salmon had bones(!!!) inside and try to cut a steak with a dull knife.

Sherry Ju

One of the best restaurant week experience I ever had. Attentive service and amazing food with innovative dishes.

S Marks The Spots

One of the best restaurants in NYC! Great service, nice atmposhere, awesome food. Try the softshell crab and the cod with black truffle or the lobster . Advisable to book in advance. Read more

can't go wrong with the prix fix ! delicious pasta , duck , and sirloin

Jenna North

The Agnolotti with fava beans is one of the best I have ever had. The prix fixe is a great way to explore the menu. Sommeliers are some of the best and will help you pair your entire experience.

The Corcoran Group

Take in the beautiful and swanky décor from the bar as you enjoy one of their imaginative cocktails ! The Melone e Prosciutto is pure perfection, as is the Apertivo.

Veronica H

Pleasantly surprised! Agnolotti veal parcels are a must get and the poached lobster . Get the fluke crudo-it's smothered in caviar and sits in a pool of Mayer lemon and cream

Laurent Raufaste

The $29 express lunch is worth it. You have to sit at the counter, but if you are alone or only two, it works!

Michael Fox-Rabinovitz

Good food, absolutely, excellent presentation, solid service great cocktails . Liked the chocolate desserts , sweetbreads , octopus . Good, but definitely not great.

Halstead Property

The Trofie Nero is definitely not your ordinary pasta dish. The squid ink has a light consistency and is full of character from the crustacean tomato filled sauce topped with softly prepared scallops .

Vivian

This place is amazing. Nice ambience, great service, very fancy . Oh and yea the food is delicious. Got the prix fixe of foie gras , duck , and raw scallops .

Khalid Alnuaimi

One of the best Breakfast in the town ???????? Egg Benedict is highly recommended

Michael White 's compromise between super-fancy fine dining and his more casual restaurants ; it strikes excellent balance between the two.

Bone marrow was so delicious! Great extensive selection of wine . Good for special occasions or dining out with parents!

Cara Araneta

Squid ink pasta , sea urchin cauliflower pans cotta, scallops . Dessert - brioche rum or the strawberry mascarpone shortbread . Best meal this year!

Speechless.. The pineapple upside down cake is the best in the world ????????????

Halstead Property

Known for its succulent and tender lamb , restaurateur Michael White certainly hit the mark. While there were several choices of the lamb , we opted for the lamb chops , which were masterfully flavored.

Harumi U

Beautiful large dining room where you get Michelin star quality food all day without, considering quality and location, breaking bank

Liz Mack

Started off slow with amuse bouche and first course, but the trofie nero and buttered lobster were out of this world. Rockin

Boon Yap

Pricey , but well worth exploring the culinary delights hidden within. Creative cooking and impeccable service .

Harriet Ruff

Great set lunch menu . Can recommend the lobster bisque and halibut highly!

Adriana

Had the prix-fixe menu; it was good. Attentive service. Nice ambience.

Chet Mancini

Fantastic Michelin quality Riviera inspired prix fixe menu .

CJ Gartland

We had the Prix Fixe with wine paring...just fabulous and worth every penny. Can't wait for my next visit!

Jenna North

The prix fixe is the best way to experience this fantastic Chef Michael White restaurant . Hristo Zisovski has developed an outstanding wine service and menu.

!:gem:!

Slide up to the bar and point to anything on the menu. You'll feel as if you've died and gone to heaven. Need to ramp up their sparkling wine selections but otherwise a perfect Saturday evening.

Mike Chau

Try the White Label Burger - 8 oz. prime burger , bacon marmalade , American cheese , fried egg . One of the best burgers ever.
