One of my go to bars in Edinburgh . Full of character and excellent beer . It's small, so don't expect seats if in a big group.

Veronika K

I imagine this bar might have been there in the 1800s! It's so small, old... and charming. Love that it's totally hidden in a tiny street.

Russell Harrison

Mix with locals in this small pub . Great range of keg and cask ales and a full whisky gantry , all served by knowledgeable friendly staff . Food only Wed to Fri - try the Mince or Haggis and Tatties.

Richard Findlay

Great gantry of whiskies - but guest ales to taste worth a try

Russell Harrison

One of Edinburgh'best 'secret' pubs , great choice of cask and draught ales .

Cosy bar serving quality real ales - no distracting music ????

If you're not asking about the guest ales , you're doing it wrong.

Goto Kay's Bar, order a whisky or ale from their tempting selection, and then head to the back of the bar (on the right-hand-side) for the snug.

Kent Bowery

Cozy and lovely pints of Guinness

Jean-François Goncet

Great cask ale , good value for money lunch , you have to try the homemade chilli . Pretty good atmosphere during rugby games!

You'll find rugby on the TVs during the 6 Nations matches. Scotland takes on France on Saturday, 5 February.
