Kimpton Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City

Time for check out. Had a nice stay, even if walked one night. Staff tried to make up for it in many ways, but that's a tough one. Bambara is solid. They helped with entertainment on a rainy day, too.

Excellent staff . Microwave and refrigerator right away when requested. 4 complimentary newspapers every am. 5-6pm wine hour . Our goldfish was waiting in our room! Super convenient to the Salt Palace .

Boutique hotel with lots of character. Great downtown location, super friendly staff , & daily wine reception are a few reasons I stay here whenever I visit SLC.

Terrific rooms and service as expected with Kimptons. Close to bars , restaurants and SLC sites and complimentary coffee in the morning from 6-9.

The hot list: daily wine tasting in the lobby, valet parking is cheaper than garages , Bambara is in Top 5 restaurants , high floors have temple views and don't expect to get any premium cable channels!

Hotel Monaco is Salt Lake City's only bike friendly hotel . They have 2 complimentary Public Bikes for guests.

Wine hour is a great was to eavesdrop on your fellow travelers and the food is a nice bonus.

If you are staying, ask for the appetizer coupon (bleu cheese chips ) in front desk when eating in Bambara for dinner .

Greatest front desk staff ever. Paul Mitchell girls love Ty and Tay! They'll let you know where to go and what cool things to do.

Fun hotel . Former bank lovingly renovated. Lovely restaurant .

Package with valet and $40 restaurant credit is very close to the price for just the room - look at best available packages on their website.

Participate in the guppy love program and get a goldfish in your room. Mine is pretty cute !!!

Restaurant was some of the best food I've had in along time. Chicken was very well seasoned

Best hotel for pets . Amazing, attentive, friendly and thorough staff . Will stay here whenever I get the chance.

The staff is excellent, especially the evening front desk and morning valet folks.

Be sure to valet . Cheaper than surrounding parking garages not to mention very nice and handsome valet staff .

Those robes. Order a humidifier for your room!

Strongly recommend putting your breakfast order out the night before - room service is virtually impossible to get a hold of in the am.

You better check in! Special! Dinner at Bambara is a must in SLC!

The foursquare rm upgrade wasn't available but they gave me a free movie OR an item from the treasure box! Live it!

Be sure to borrow a bike to explore the city . They're free!

Not only do they offer an upgrade for checking in for your stay, but they'll deliver a goldfish to keep you company on those long business trips.

Great hotel but bring some cash and dot plan on watching too much tv . They have basic cable but no FSN for jazz or soccer games.

Okay the restaurant here Bombara is amazing. They are somewhat pricey but the food is devine!

Signing up for their free loyalty program gives you free wifi - v recommended!

Love the lobby. Great place to sit and talk with friends. Bring your drink and relax!

Free coffee and Mighty Leaf teas in the lobby every morning. The coffee is very good.

Don't worry they switch out the gold fish everyday. Even if they don't clean your room!!
