Order the burrito mojado with al pastor which is pork with pineapple chunks. Or go for their fish tacos and carne asada . Don't forget to stop by their salsa bar , great options.

Dis is the jewel of DC tacos . Corn tortilla tacos w black beans , sour cream , lettuce, tomato , pico , guac , and mestizo salsa is my usual jam . But the fish tacos really hold their own as well !

I got the chorizo which was really good. A bit salty but it’s packed with flavor and not too spicy . Service is fast. The place is small so come at a less busy time or plan to take it to go.

Basic taco is flawless. Burrito bowl > burritos . Mexican coke , an excellent salsa bar (truly spicy !) and addictive guacamole are all wonderful, too. Nachos are the only disappointment, but who cares?

We tried California burritos and classic tacos . Burrito was amazing and taco was good but not grounded beef . Suggest to try it.

Had several tacos here. The carnitas , the carne asada and the shredded beef Very nice. Even sampled the breakfast burrito . I'm a taco snob and these people are pretty good.

Try and get a seat at the front table. You can see the grill and great people watching . There's never a shortage of salsa , there are 8 to choose from.

The fish tacos are to die for! Excellent food with superb service.

During rush hours, get yourself some chips and salsa if you're dying for food as the wait can be considerable. Well worth waiting though.

Get there before or after the lunch rush. That way you do not have to wait 25 mins to order and 25 mins to get your food. Who has time for that?!? The food is delicious!

I tried taco here for the first time. And it was good. District taco is the place you should visit.

Don't hesitate to request a tour of the menu and don't worry about choosing fast. It's a meal. Respect yourself.

Breakfast burrito = good. Basic tacos = FLAWLESS. I crave them. Also wonderful? Mexican coke , the smoky "hot" salsa and the bright , fresh guacamole . The nachos , however, are a crushing disappointment.

Wow. Best tacos I've had in a long time. Did barbacoa "con todo" (with everything) plus guacamole . Yum!

Basic Mexican, about the same as Chipotle or Qdobe. The shrimp burrito bowl (available on Tuesdays and Thursdays) was good.

Easily the best Mexican food in DC. Breakfast tacos with chorizo are heavenly.

Do not get the quesadilla with pinto beans, or any beans for that matter. Got back to my office and it was mushy slop, big disappointment! Guac was excellent however!
