Wantan mee : There r 3 stalls : A) #01-47 B) #01-45 & C) #01-01. As a complete package, B tasted d best. But C has more traditional char siew & wantans, lotsa vege (they lost pts on overcooked noodles )

Prata : Nur Indah Kitchen #01-11 looks like they had lots of press coverage b4. Tried their plain prata on a busy Sunday morning. Limp & hard :-( & their std curry was weak/diluted

Fishball noodles . Locals make a bee-line for Joo Chiat Chiap Kee #01-31 for handmade fishballs & pork balls . Yummy & bouncy. Noodles are springy ('q') but overall dish was a tad too salty

Wantan mee ($4). Geylang Wang Kok #01-27 served a decent plate, marred only by subpar wantans. Will hv to sample those again. Noodle sauce was aromatic, enhanced with some sesame oil

Roasted chicken rice ($3.50). Affordable plate from Success Chicken Rice #01-25. However meat was dry. Rice could be more aromatic. Soup was old-school tasty, packed with natural chicken essence

You must try the vegetarian bee hoon here. Sold between 7am-9am. Also, try the chai tow kway (fried carrot cake ) in both the black and white variants. There is also good wanton mee to be had here.

Prawn noodles . Unimpressed with Prawn & Mee #01-45. Soup was more pork rib-flavoured. While prawns were firm & fresh, the sauce with my dry noodles lacked the prawn aroma

Things to try here: carrot cake , "French fries " carrot cake , lor mee , bak Chor mee and wanton mee .

Kway chap : What we enjoyed most was their fragrant stew sauce (lor). Meat was well-cooked. Yum!

Min chiang kueh (Chinese pancake , $1). Batter was overly soft, almost soggy from 麵煎粿 Pancake #01-05 Could be cooked longer. This one with peanut filing costed $1

群芳豆花水 (Koon Fong Soyabean) #01-03. They have some unique stuff like self made jelly n dessert . Their soya drink serving is larger than usual @ low price. Worth checking it out. Usually closes on wed.

Chai Chee Kway Chap very good. Not salty, Kway is soft. Chili is the right one.

Wash basins. There are 2 at the corner where the L-shaped hawker centre joins

Nasi Lemak : Shui Huat #01-35 sees long queues. However, we came on wrong day. (Alrdy cold) fried chicken wing was not edible. BTW Ikan bilis is slightly spicy , if u r ordering for kids who dun like it

The best stall here is the vegetarian beehoon (get the mee/beehoon mix)Honorable mentions: white chai tow kway from Hai Sheng, wonton mee , hum chim pang

Must come "阿丽怡包河粉" stall to eat!! Their fried dumplingss and ipoh hor fun is really awesomeeee!! U will definately regret if u don't try it!! :D

The Malay food @ Sempurna Jaya. Tasty and good value for money .

Chiap Kee Noodles awesome shit. fishball handmade portion small but gd. When kiap fishball beware yur fishball mite just fly off cos its just too smooth and good. Hong Ni kitchen always da best. $2

Chilli is Power. Soup is Cantonese home made soup . Must try transparent chicken feet with Thai sauce.

Xian Jin mixed vegetable rice #01-02 three dishes + rice only $2! Tasty and cheap :) they also sell bak kut teh for $2 too!

Recommends the nasi lemak which the 2 grandparents are selling. On the same row as the joo chiat fishball noodle .

Thumbs up as usual for 朝洲菜饭小抄 stall , they serve excellent home cooked dishes and reasonable prices

Vegetarian bee Hoon . Bak chor mee . Carrot cake . Kuey chup. Hand made bee Hoon Kuey. Prawn noodle . Nasi lemak . All is must try!!!

Nice and cheap @ #01-02 ($2 for one bak kut teh & $2 for any 3 types of dishes and rice ) 

Try to come here before 1pm because most of the stalls close/sell out at that time.

Try the Sempurna Jaya Malay rice . Good taste and reasonably priced.

Stall 1-46. The other fish soup stall that is pretty good.

Simple tasty home cooked dishes to go with porridge / rice and reasonably priced

A must-try for He Xing yong tau foo !! Plenty of variety & at a reasonable price

Forgot to mention, Xian Jin Mix Vege Stall starts from morning to around 3pm. Usually have long queue between 12pm to 2pm. If health is ya concern, this stall ain't right for u.

Chai chee kway chap is recommended

Please avoid fruit juice store #01-63 at all cost. The drinks are very diluted and the uncle adds syrup to make up for the sweetness.

宣均 Xian Jin Mix Vege Stall "01-02". S$2 as standard pricing. Cheap n good. Worth trying out. They also got Ba Kut Teh.

Shui Huat Nasi Lemak is awesome & cheap ! In fact, everything here is cheap 

Teo Chew rice/porridge has nice home cooked taste and reasonably priced will come again

The Nasi Biryani at the last stall nearest the Singpost outlet is a must try!

Variety of food. So far all the stall is above average

Vegetarian ? 3 options for vegetarians here. But they only operate in the morning. Look at pics ;) Bon appetite!
