Huge, 2-story space with a DJ upstairs and random art all over the walls. Vegetarian burger is fine but highly recommend the cheeseless mac n cheese .

The mussels and ribs were some of the best food I've had in a while. The vibe of this place is very energetic and lively . It turns into a club late. A place that rivals the best that SF has to offer.

The burger is where it's at! Add provolone and avocado and have it cooked medium rare and you will keep coming back for more. Love the vibe here with the DJ upstairs and high ceilings .

Recommend getting a reservation , or arriving not at peak times to grab delicious cocktails and small plates . A bit on the expensive side.

the mussels and fries are my favorite meal in oakland. the broth is rich and flavorful. also-all of the cocktails are magical,but the pimms and needles has a special place in my heart.

We were here on a Friday for lunch . Good selection of beer and great food. Loved the loft style layout of the place. The cheeseless Mac n cheese , Brussels sprouts and sandwiches were all excellent!

Awesome spot. Pretty lively , with cool crowds and great food. Try the ribeye , the chicken Milanese , and the tuna appetizer .

First time there and loved it. Huge former car showroom but very intimate at the bar . Bar staff very professional and friendly . Drinks great. Bar food excellent. Great vibe. Will definitely return.

This place is huge. Great cocktails , great food. Always have a great time - it's a party vibe in the back, dine out front if you want to chat over dinner !

Big restaurant that I'd imagine is great for parties. Tried the Blackened Catfish with dirty rice and was not disappointed. Great for grabbing a bit at the bar too.

The no-cheese mac and cheese is so good! I also love their bread pudding . Get a cocktail , share some small plates . I stick to the small plates vs. the entrees.

Attentive service, unpretentious environment, and good food. My vegetable ragout was surprisingly spicy - the menu did not mention it at all - but I did have cheese puffs to help it along!

Mua has an incredible interior space and a breadth of menu options. I highly recommend. Moscow Mule was the best drink I had during the night.

The vegan mac n cheese was AMAZING. We were sort of bummed that some of the other most popular items were out of stock, but I guess that proves that they're really really good. Will be returning.

Fun trendy spot with rich, creamy foods and urban art . We had cheeseless mac n cheese , crab cakes , lettuce wraps , and calinari... All yummy. Nice ambience.

I suggest these wide array of plates, good Lamb cheeks , delicious Bone marrow , crispy Fried calamari , a Blackened cat fish and the always enjoyable Brussels sprouts .

The ambiance and music are great. The food is just ok, we got the ribs , the Mac n cheese , and some drinks. I don't think they know how to make good drinks. Or what tapas mean.

My favorite place in Oakland. Really good food (try the tuna tartare ) and hip and diverse crowd to boot!

Calamari is great to share (avoid eating the peppers unless you like spicy ). Fried chicken and the po'boy crab sandwich are a must try!

4 of us shared many apps. Standouts included Ahi Tuna , No Cheese Mac, Carpaccio , Ribs and Wings .

Burrata and crab cakes were delicious. The Thai chicken wings were out of this world!

Very cool vibe and somewhat upscale clientele. Come for the drinks and atmosphere - food is better (and more reasonably priced) else where. Plus they charge 20% gratuity for party of 5 :(

Been here a few times. Music is a bit too loud . Seems like they are trying too hard. Bone marrow and fried chicken are fantastic. Not impressed with any of the other entrees.

Great food, drinks, ambiance, and service! The flourless chocolate cake is smooth and yummy.

Great for drinks. That Po Boy is fantastic after a cocktail or five.

The veggie burger is good. Comes with a lot of fries .

Do NOT park outside. Our car war routinely broken into outside the church . If you uber, order the fried chicken .

Mac $ cheese , lamb cheeks and quinoa salad were great. Skip the ribs .

Brussels sprouts done right! Squash Mac and "cheese !" I could eat just those all night.

"Burger Joint " it is not. Had wonderful mussels and catfish . Ask for the gluten free menu if need be.
