Absolutely the best place for Japanese curry in the city . This place serves the lesser know Japanese food , very authentic and has a friendly staff . Family owned and run. Expect a wait on weekends.

Curry is good. Shrimp katsu curry is crazy huge. If you dare, get XXX spicy , but you're not going to enjoy it. I like my spice but it was overwhelming!

Order the homemade hamburger with mushroom sauce . If you order the curry sauce , be careful of the spicyness. 2X = double spicy , not medium. It's REALLY hot.

Japanese style western food , aka yoshoku. Love the curries and gratins . Japanese style pastas are fun too.

Spicy curry is delish, pizza is a great east/west blend and the owner is super nice. Has given us many thanks for repeat business

Potato croquettes , chicken kara-age and gyoza were delicious. Service was pretty good for only having one server on duty.

The mentaiko spaghetti is good but not great, kinda like the service. They're a sweet old couple running at a slower pace then most places. At least you can enjoy some anime or manga while you wait.

Only place I have been able toget mentaiko spaghetti ❤❤❤I bet it's great with shiso too! 美味い！

Make sure you have a glass of milk if you're getting the xxx curry . It burns so much but tastes so good!

I came here for the anime , tofu mushroom and spinach curry is okay.

The service can be kinda slow, but the curry pizza (with cheese and veggies , for me) is worth it.

I love the curry here! If you're planning to have dinner , arrive early. Seating is very limited.

There are so many excellent restaurants in Japantown. Eat at one of them instead of eating here. It's overpriced for a relatively low quality meal.
