Unfortunately, Uncle Tetsu (nearest location to NYC is Toronto, other US locations in CA & HI) has set the bar HIGH for Japanese cheesecake . Keki's version is delicious, but still pretty dense
The bouncy Soufflé CheeseKeki is creamy and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness.
Their speciality is their fresh Japanese style bouncy cheesecake . It taste better then the ones in Korea. Probably since US cheese 's are saltier. Original castella cake is nice but Fays are cheaper
had the japanese cheese cake $13.75 that came in a very fancy box. i thought the box is a waste unless it is from recycled material. cake is like a dense chiffon with a mild cheese flavor.
The bouncy Japanese cheesecake is probably the fluffiest cake I've ever had. But be prepared to wait for it as they only bake about a dozen of them every 30 minutes.
The cheese tart is definitely the way to go. It’s runny so it’s difficult to eat.
Free samples 🙌🏻 Skip the matcha cheesecake (tasted too healthy) and go straight for the OG cheesecake
The castella slice u can buy on weekends is good and light but prefer the cheesecake which is totally different
The cheesecake is really good. Though I’m assuming it’s inspired by Japanese jiggle cheese cakes ... Mine did not jiggle or shake in any way
Castella Keki is delicious, has very strong taste of egg and not very sweet
New cake shop in Chinatown serving really fluffy Taiwanese spongecake!
The bouncy cheesecake is actually not bouncy after refrigeration. I think only right out of the oven
Bouncy cheesecake is heaven.
Basic cheesecake is pretty great.
I'm not a huge fan of these cakes , they feel very eggy, and I prefer the consistency of other cheesecakes
Único lugar que encontrei a famosa cheesecake japonesa em Manhattan! Infelizmente eles só vendem a torta toda! Mas ela é bem levinha então consegui comer uma inteira com minha amiga...😂
Best dessert ever!!
