A relatively easy ascent from the sloping Lombard St. Continue your tour going down to the wharves via the Greenwich Steps. Much easier this way than going the opposite direction climbing stairs.
Check out the trails leading down from the Coit Tower parking lot for great, little-seen views of the Bay .
