An impressive hotel . As you enter the lobby, glance up at the massive structure that is the hotel . The hotel staff were fantastic, friendly and always willing to help or just pass the time of day.

Very nice hotel , beautiful inside with open views to the top, great rooms. Great views from the higher floors. Staff is professional and attentive.

This hotel is massive-47 floors! The views are great with the large picture window makes you feel like you're floating in air. It's been 20 years since I've stayed here and the renovations are great.

This hotel is the Tribute Quarters in “Catching Fire.” The atrium’s full 52-story glass elevators and the hotel’s rooftop are featured in the film .

Cool sci-fi looking hotel . Scenes of Mocking Jay were filmed here. Ride the high speed elevators facing the lobby to the top floor for great views of the city .

Amazing! This hotel is like a tourist attraction itself. Highly recommend High Velocity -- good food, great vibe, awesome service. Take elevator to 47th floor for amazing view of city .

The pivotal hotel scenes near the end of the 2012 Oscar nominated film 'Flight' were shot here. The night before his NTSB hearing, Whip (Denzel Washington) stayed here to try & keep himself sober.

Staff is hot or miss. Sometimes excellent southern hospitality and sometimes mean as heck. After 7 days of staying here, I would recommend other hotels for the price!

Love the interior architecture of this structure , very unique to Atlanta. Close to all thing business, but far from the real culture of Atlanta.

Excellent service , first rate Marriott property. Even during busy conventions the staff is always great and always helpful. Sear restaurant is tasty, maybe a bit overpriced for drinks.

Amazing lobby and a welcomed Starbucks inside. Conference food was not very good especially breakfast . Nice large room though.

Lovely lobby, good rooms. But definitely ask for a higher-level floor if you don't want to hear the woo-girls at the bar all night.

If you look up from the lobby, the configuration of the room levels is in the shape of a peach ....we are the peach state !

Courteous employees, excellent location. Many major attractions within walking distance of hotel . Amenities too numerous to mention.

This was used for Catching Fire and is now used for the 3rd installment, shooting is going on now, see the cables from the ceiling

Very nice hotel . Great view of downtown from the rooms. Full service Starbucks, a sports bar , massive lobby with plenty of seating.

Beautiful hotel . It is connect to Peachtree Center, which has a number of places to eat.

Rooms are getting a little rough around the edges. Needs TLC. Stairwells smell like weed and urine. Still a Portman masterpiece, though, and should be experienced at least once in a lifetime.

Great location, awesome new rooms and a fabulous styled hotel . Marriott loyalists will not be disappointed.

Great views from the rooms and one of the nicest lounges I've seen. Breakfast in Sear was awesome!

You can get to the Peachtree Center food court from this hotel , it is very easy. Just take the escalators!

Love this hotel , friendly employees, excellent service, beautiful views , fabulous restaurant , and a Starbucks!

Make sure you get a room higher than the 8th floor if you need to sleep & don't want to hear the party people in the bar area all night.

If you have concierge service and are staying below floor 42 use the stairs. IE floor 40, just walk up to floor 42. It saves first taking the elevator down, walk to other elevator and then up again

The bellmen, doormen , and valets move your luggage from one person to the next and don't say with your luggage the entire time. It's unprofessional because you end up having to tip 3 different people!

Love love the Starbucks and the high velocity the food is great.

The Concierge Lounge on the 42nd floor is awesome

This place has the greatest view inside! Your breath will be taken away by the alien-like architecture . Take the elevator all the way up!

This place is rad. Even if you don't stay there stop in and gaze upon the incredible design.

Nice place...but the hand off of luggage to front desk to room and everyone wanting a tip is crazy. $32 a day to park ...no wifi in the room u.less you pay $14.95..$3 bottled water....it's nuts here.

If you need to ship FedEx, walk over to the Hilton and use the office there or walk to another non-hotel FedEx office to avoid the rediculous surcharges they add in the Marriott's FedEx office .

The Bar/Velocity is one of the best around The Atlanta hotel in downtown.

The hotel was really big and beautiful but we went while a convention was going on and the elevators were so slow and always full also what hotel doesn't have free wifi ?!?

Amazing looking hotel . Service is slow at times due to how busy it is.

Ride the elevators all the way to the top floor and then look out the bug windows at the gorgeous view ! Breath taking.

Even if you use their parking you will still need to pick it up at p1, an elevator at the end of the building

Harder to get on the elevator here than an NY subway at rush hour

Fantastic city views , but far from Midtown/trendier areas, especially if you're a walker, like me. Beware: $32/night for parking ....ridiculous!
