Bfast is nice n sufficient. Wi-Fi speed abit slow. Rooms nice, comfy n clean . Service staff can be friendlier.

apple audio docks in rooms, easy walk to supermarket , 7/11, fast food joints. a hop away from the train station . right beside Victoria University .. and a smoke shop .

Lovely old school architecture/features. Friendly service . Cool cellar restaurant but no vegan options except "steamed veg "!

Lovely, well-maintained old property immediately across the street from Flinders Street Station. Very convenient.

Check out the happy hour mon thru Friday, 5:30 to 6:30. Five buck beers , wines and well drinks .

Great, central location but rooms were small, no natural light and we had the bad luck of having a very rude member of staff check us in - Kay. Not a place we felt we could relax in. Not great value .

The rooms weren't cleaned thoroughly (bedsheets changed on the 2nd day). The staff were helpful. The rooms were quite small & I got a view of a carpark :/ But the hotel is in a great location!

The pancake machine in straits cafe for breakfast is awesome!

Internet is very slow & the reception girl under the name smth Thompson, really gave me a cold n horse face.. Others r quite friendly

Confused Internet: Do I get three hours free or am I paying $25 for 24 hours . Heck, I got a better "business package" in a cheap hotel in rural Malaysia last week!

Old, clean and organized but somewhat uninspiring interior of the room with little natural light .

Loves the breakfast buffet especially the freshly made delicious pancakes too!

Great location. Room is small and needs a bit refurbishment. Bathroom was better fortunately. A bit noisy , mediocre isolation.

Don't ever stay on the 5th floor. The carpet is stained, the beds are old and there's a very loud air conditioning unit just outside. The dumps ! The other floors are much better.

The cappriosia pizza is the worst pizza I have ever tried to eat. 99% cheese , 100% aweful - it's just feral.

No more pancakes for bfast !!! Argh.....

Hotel near to everything with friendly staff but room we stayed in was too small with no windows nor extractor in the bathroom ,to be classified as 4 Star room unless rules are different in Down Under
