Got nutella donut and tartufo (bfast sammie) for brunch . Both were yummy. Italian place so they don't have ketchup for ur potatoes and hot sauce is more like chili oil ? Not busy for brunch
Brunch tip: if you prefer sweet over savory, the French toast is a must have. It's stuffed with goodness and melts in your mouth. Top it off by paying with Cover!
Your devices running out of juice and need a charge? Grab the two top in the back right and you'll find an outlet tucked away beside the bench . Closest seat to the loo but hey, more Snapchattin'!
Steaming Americano and a sizable portion of cereali (Greek yogurt generously topped with fresh berries and granola ). Lovely start to the day.
Chill spot in the busy hustling neighborhood . Come for coffee and almond croissant
The breakfast bar at Tarallucci is always full of authentic pastries and authentic Italians . Order a (perfect!) croissant and some coffee and pretend you're in Milan, before heading to Daffy's.
If you're here for breakfast , order the ham and cheese croissant . But have them make it with a honey whole wheat croissant -- it's like a honey-baked hamwich.
In the morning try the excellent coffee and a whole wheat honey croissant , custard filled bombolini or cornetti that rival anything in Italy, in the evening: great wines by the glass and small plates .
If they still have Gelati , it is great. Pastries are very good and Coffee is exceptional. Been coming here for years and love it.
Torta della Nonna is an Italian specialty filled with thick custard and topped with pine nuts and a sugary glaze.
It's not just a coffee place , it's more of a living room. Your home away from home. Read more
Good for a work lunch or a glass of wine (or both)
Branzino deboned and pan seared $28. Roomy dining area, good service and extensive Italian wine list.
NearSay contributor Dana James, a.k.a. the Food Coach, recommends "For something more indulgent, try the poached eggs over polenta and porchetta , or the speck and goat cheese frittata .
Love the Cappuccino , just the right size and perfectly made. Also, love the music they play in the morning. Highly recommend.
For dinner , you can't go wrong with the Fregnacce al Sugo di Papera, wafer thin sheets of pasta filled with duck sugo, and parmigiano reggiano . Perfect on a cold winter's night.
Solid Italian spot ! This is probably the best food that you can get around Union Square.
AUTUNNO: highly recommended - this dish comes with light sweetening of perfectly prepared figs offset by exotic prosciutto .
Much bigger than the East Village location. A good spot away from the crowds to grab a table
Taste - The Stella Panini , a pairing of albacore tuna with marinated artichoke hearts on pressed ciabatta that's smothered in mayo . Not an extraordinary sandwich but a satisfying one. Read more
Lovely place for a breakfast meeting! Treat yourself to their baked goods , which are all mouthwatering, esp. the chocolate filled croissant !
This place is perfect for having a leisurely cup of coffee . Read more
Extensive wine list with very knowledgable staff . Great atmosphere. Casual luxury .
My favorite café in New York. I’ve met many of my cousins here for a Panini and a coffee .
I was underwhelmed by their prix fixe brunch . Don't go with the French toast . Do go for the almond croissant
Right in the middle of everything. Perfect location and perfect all day menu.
I just had a really good octopus and fingerling potato salad , little spicy .
go ahead and try to find a stand out dish, I dare you! you're in NYC, you can do better.
WILD BOAR SPECIAL: while the meat was actually cooked perfectly,it lacked seasoning and flavor. thus leaving the diner wanting more punch.
Outdoor seating ! Fresh food ! Their egg dishes for brunch are good.
Try the Whole Wheat Croissants With Honey - Amanda Hesser of The Times says this is the best croissant in NYC.
My fave breakfast spot because of the quality of the coffee and the quietness - nothing like the madness of the Coffee Shop ...
Quick and friendly service . The omelette was great for breakfast .
Best cappuccino I've had this side of the pond . Try the cornetti !
Great coffee , excellent service. Two for one wine happy hour .
MONTEPULCIANO: this red wine started out delicious but eventually took on a medicinal flavor by the end of dinner .
Ravioli with butternut squash , brown butter , prosciutto , sage , apple - go immediately.
Beautiful people surround me. Atmosphere is great, wine is magic
Cheeses are great. Comes with honey and raisins

Consistent good food, service. But mostly chocolate croissants .
Great brunch selection
Great food and excellent service! Cappuccinos on point.
This place is a bit classy , but their lunch and pastries are both delicious.
GNOCCHETTI: dish that starts out well but loses prowess as you come to a close. spinach was quite good but the pork becomes repetitive.
FORMAGGI: daily cheese special was a nice starter - delicacy cuts well complemented by jam and honey .
The lattes and pan au chocolat are delicious. The bulgar wheat salad in the spring is fantastic, too.
The gnocchellite were great. I just don't recommend eating them for lunch unless you want to risk falling asleep.
best Italian cappuccino in town . Also good Italian croissant
