The Sabich Sandwich is my favorite vegetarian dish in NYC. It's loaded with eggplant , hard-boiled egg , hummus , and more but the amba sauce is the key. Read all about my visit on WinstonWanders below!! Read more
No matter how much time passes, we keep coming back to this downtown (and mobile) staple for our falafel fix. The perfect alchemy of spices, crispiness and unlimited toppings never fails to deliver . Read more
Regular green falafel with baba ganoush ! Get fries with it and it's the perfect dinner before heading out to the various bars in the area. Get the hot sauce and with your falafel .
Very clean and tasty falafel sandwich , and was surprised on how great their smoothies are, too. Grab them to go, because there is very little to seating available.
A nice vegetarian option . The falafel platter is filling with the hummus , salad , bread and freshly made falafel . The restaurant is small and narrow but there is a bench and a few stools.
These falafel balls made me reevaluate my belief that most falafels taste the same. These are perfectly crunchy on the outside and smooth in the centre. Get the falafel platter with 3 types of balls.
Take it from an Israeli. Best falafel in the city . From the bread , to the construction , to the different flavored of perfectly cooked falafel . Perfection. Better than most places in Israel
There was a good food for lunch or dinner . And also food tastes so good. Desert food is very traditional food in Turkey . I am definitely going to visit there again.
The Harissa falafel platter is my favorite! It comes with 7 falafel a, two refreshing salads , hummus and seasoned pita . Great smoothies as well .
Everything here is amazing, I have honestly not had a bad thing yet. Delicious!!!The space is a little small and can get crowded , so don't expect to be eating inside.
Obsessed with the falafel sandwiches ! (Harissa is my fave.) Their truffle fries are also absolutely yummy; they come with saffron aioli and you'll be sad to see how quickly you eat them all.
Favorite falafel in NYC and beyond. Mediterranean platter with harissa is my go-to, and the smoothies are also fantastic. Try the coconut for something light and refreshing.
I order the mixed falafel platter and it was so good and very filling. I meant to take a photo but I couldn't wait to dig in! Only downside is the place is super tiny so taking it to go is likely.
Entirely vegetarian falafel place (the daily specials are especially interesting) with awesome gluten free options . Service can be an issue, especially at lunch , and the line situation is untenable.
Been going to Taim since it opened and it's the best falafel in the city . Unless you hate cilantro : order the green falafel sandwich (sans cabbage ) and prepare for your taste buds to explode! 😋
Great place. Never try falafel better. Take away that falafel sandwich , whole wheat , harissa , ginger&mint lemonade . Only few places inside, but a lot of small parks in the neighborhood
The mini-platter of green falafel is definitely enough for a yummy (but not to heavy) lunch . Four falafels in total, plus Israeli salad . Ask for extra hot sauce . Passover matzah is clutch.

Try the green falafel sandwich ($6.25). The flavorful green falafel–fried mashed chickpea mixed with parsley , mint , and cilantro–are moist on the inside, and lightly crisp on the outside. Read more
Solid falafel sandwich , nice that they offer whole wheat pita ! The falafel is delicious, but hummus could use a bit more zing!
A welcome new outpost of an NYC favorite. Yeah the falafel rule, but give the sabich platter some love too!
I'm pretty skeptical of places with "#1 rating" especially when they advertise it all over the front door, but I have to say this is the most delicious falafel , hummus , pita etc. I've had in the City
perfect green and brown falafel at the same time at great price. only 3-4 seats available inside
Huge, tasty falafel made fresh to order. Bonus: they're also gluten-free & the menu is strictly vegetarian & mostly vegan . Traditional Middle Eastern fare with a gourmet twist. Try the saffron aioli .
First falafel place I've ever been that has multiple flavors. Very affordable and wonderfully crisp. The pear-mint-lemon smoothie is delicious and refreshing!
"If you fancy yourself a trendsetter, try the sabich — a warm pita stuffed with fried eggplant , organic egg , hummus , Israeli salad , chopped parsley , and tahini ."
best falafel in NYC. more herbacious than other places, cleaner flavors, nicer pita .... also give the pear/mint/lime drink a spin. refreshing.
Fresh, Mediterranean style vegetarian food . Get the classic green falafel with some extra tzatziki sauce on the side. Better than Mamoun's
This was the best falafel I've ever had. Location is small, but the falafel sandwich was perfect!
The best falafel in New York! Get anything — it's all amazing (and all vegetarian !)
Try the Sabich-Slabs of eggplant are fried into crisp, silken submission & layered into a pita along w/ shredded cabbage , Israeli salad (diced tomatoes , cucumbers , parsley ), hummus , & hard-boiled egg .
Try the green falafel . The crunchy exterior conceals a fluffy core, with a nutty, herbaceous flavor complemented by silky hummus and tahini sauce . It’s one of our #100best dishes and drinks of 2011. Read more
The falafel here is nothing short of excellent; cooked well , seasoned, and served hot. Get it with the green harissa sauce for some much-needed spice.
One of the best falafel sandwiches I've ever had.
Looks like any ordinary chain falafel joint, but it's anything but! Sabich is insanely good: silky eggplant , hard-boiled egg slices, Israeli salad , hummus , amba sauce. Still thinking about it...!
My favorite falafel sandwich in manhattan. Multiple flavors, whole wheat pita , smoothies , salads and more. Lots of vegan options .
Try the mixed falafel platter--you get a lot of food for not too much money and you get to try all three flavors
Proper lebanese falafel !! With the medium spiciness sauce ! Helpful staff if you forget that the cashier was talking so fast and she did not know the menu.
Get a Sabich sandwich ! Super popular in Israel, it's such a great mix of flavors and not very common to find in the US.
Our pick for the best falafel sandwich in New York. Clean , crisp, and grease-free, with great hummus and salads .
The harissa falafel is amazing and pretty filling for the size. The tangy dressing helps this place top the other falafel joints.
The falafel sandwiches are delicious. You could easily walk past this place (it's tiny and on a quiet street), but don't miss it!
They have a special falafel flavor that changes daily; mushroom and thyme is my fave! Be sure to ask what their special is!
The best falafel & smoothies in the city . Pear , mint , lemon smoothie is something special. Ask about the day's special falafel .
I don't even know all the flavors & sauces that came with the mixed falafel platter , but they were all good.
All falafels light and delicious. Hummus creamy smooth and nutty. Tabbouleh Devine. Date lime smoothie one if best ever.
Sabich sandwich was really tasty and the falafel sampler is fantastic. The Harissa flavored falafel is amazing. Affordable, delicious food.
Somehow even smaller than the SoHo location, but the recommendation is the same: harissa falafel sandwich on a whole wheat pita with feta cheese added in.
